Perfectly located in old Tarbes, this house full of history and love is a wonderful place to stay whether touring Tarbes or if avoiding the hoards of Lourdes. Jose was an exceptionally warm and welcoming host. I'll stay again as soon as I am in the area.

This is a beautifully restored and decorated property right in the center of Tarbes (great base for exploring the region too, e.g. Pic du Midi). Our room was more of a fancy hotel suite than just a room - it was very big, decorated with the most fun and exquisite objects, and with a huge terrace. Breakfast dropped off at the room door was a fun detail too! The host of the property was super friendly, flexible and hospitable, also very helpful with sorting out some transportation challenges.

This is a little oasis. Quiet, comfortable, so welcoming and also close by to the train station and the central to the shops and restaurants. Hands down the best place to stay in Tarbes.

Room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Rest of the house was very chic. Warm welcome from Jose and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous breakfast brought to our room.

The only issue I guess was the room Was quite light and noisy (in the morning) so woke up super early but other than that cannot fault it .

The fact that the accommodation does not come up on Google maps. When making a booking, don't be put off by this as the address is spot on to the private locked car park.

Jose the host was fantastic and catered for all our needs. The room and facilities were brilliant. Lovely little pool.

Cannot fault our visit.

Jose was an excellent host, extremely helpful and friendly. The room was fabulous and , although we didn’t have time to use it, the swimming pool looked tempting. Breakfast @6.50€ pp was very good and delivered to our room. As our car was small , Jose gave us the use of his garage for that night’s stay. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

What ab amazing place the rooms were gorgeous, so tastefully decorated and we even had our own patio. Jose was a perfect host and extremely helpful and generous. The breakfast in the room was perfect with tasty croissants, bread, fruit and yoghurt. There was secure parking and a pool to escape the heat.

Large room in amazing old building, tastefully refurbished by the owner. If you are visiting the Pyrenees it is worth making Tarbes your base just to stay here. Helpful and responsive owner lives on site.

It is worth noting it is near a school so you can hear the chatter of children at play during recess.

Centrally located in Tarbes and thoughtfully appointed room and balcony. One of the best parts was the owner who was attentive and welcoming, I had read that in other posts and he was certainly an exceptional host with knowledge and so willing to accommodate our needs.

There was only a curtain between the bedroom and bathroom, we would have preferred a door.

It was quaint, old but well equipped including a kettle and fridge. There was a small swimming pool and outside space to sit in. The breakfast was very good with fresh croissants and orange juice. The owner was very helpful. It was nothing like the outside suggested, a lovely surprise.

We loved our 2 night stay here, there was everything you could wish for! Jose was so attentive and saw to your every need. Loved our private terrace where we ate breakfast, Jose left it outside your door every morning. The pool was a bonus as it was extremely hot. Would stay here again & would totally recommend it. 👌

The only two nits to pick are somewhat dim lighting in both the room and the bathroom (admittedly, fitting the somewhat old-fashioned character of the interior) and a weak and somewhat unstable Wifi that disconnected all the time, on two different devices.

The host, Jose, was extremely nice and helpful, even on WhatsApp before arrival and certainly during my stay. He provided a map, restaurant recommendations, and information on what was going on around the town (e.g., a historic and rare car show). An old house with rustic interior and furniture, a spacious room and an equally spacious bathroom. Parking with a locked gate - you get keys to the room, to the front door, and to the parking, so you can come and go as you please. A choice of umbrellas is at your disposal, too - came in handy during my stay. Everything of interest in the town centre is an easy walk away.

Everything was excellent! Jose' the manager went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He's very approachable, friendly and profoundly helpful!! He knows where everything is and can answer all questions. We were right in town and could walk to the best restaurants and attractions. The building we were in has a lot of history and the room was tastefully decorated. Merci Beaucoup Jose'
