Charming house steps away from the center. Susan & Stephen wonderful hosts. We drove through the area years ago, revisiting Sarlat. Stephen carried our bags up to the first floor, large room en-suite bathroom, overlooking the Park. Bed & Bath linen of high quality. Good breakfast downstairs. Stephen made Reservations for our requested 4 dinners. Excellent Michelin star service without the prices. As seasoned travelers over many decades, Sarlat remains our favorite by far. 4 days of Foie Gras and Truffles in an Historic area to visit. A Hotel for adults who appreciate the finer things in life. Room was spacious and well appointed. Bathroom was also spacious. Breakfast was very good. Location is right in the middle of old town Sarlat. Steve and Susan were very gracious hosts, very informative.

Price was a bit higher than for similar hotels we stayed in during the trip

Central location, very friendly hosts, nearby parking lot was free, good breakfast that included fresh fruit and berries from the market

Our Stay was too short !

What a GEM. Amazing hosts in a beautifully restored home. Bravo to Susan and Stephen. Along with Fantastic location the spacious room rocked off ALL THE BOXES! Lovely breakfast too!

I liked everything, as the owner had been rightly advised, given the interests and health status. We were able to visit the best restaurants and this helped us to organize the owner on the Hotel.

There was nothing not to like!

Absolutely everything! The location was fabulous, right in the heart of Sarlat. The furnishings and decor were everything you want from a tasteful and charming French stay! Breakfast was fresh and fabulous. More than anything - the hosts make this place truly special. So warm, accommodating - it’s so clear how much care and thought they put into Les Cordeliers and also have lots of local recommendations.

The hosts were welcoming and so hospitable. We loved the breakfast (and second breakfast too) each morning. The decor is gorgeous and the rooms very spacious. There is free parking nearby and the location is perfect to explore Sarlat and nearby towns. Thanks so much for our stay Susan and Steve! We hope to be back one day.

There was no TV but that is not unusual for a lot of the France hotels/ BB.

This property is for the matured clientele. The room was huge, the AC was quiet and efficient! The staff/ owners were so nice and helpful. The location was one that you cannot beat. It was close the everything and yet so quiet.

There wasn’t anything that we did not enjoy.

The Location was absolutely fabulous. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. And everything felt quaint and cozy yet luxurious at the same time. The host Steve and Susan were so hospitable! They gave 5 star service and were so kind. If Steve gives you a recommendation be sure to listen! Everything he suggested was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay.

Steve and Susan are outstanding welcoming hosts. Their suggestions of places to visit in the area really made our stay memorable . Les Cordeliers is elegantly furnished and very clean . Breakfast was delicious and varied each day. Absolutely loved our stay here!

The only thing I can find to fault Les Cordeliers is the lack of an iron in the room! But otherwise, it had everything we could want!

Susan and Stephen run a beautiful B&B just outside of the medieval centre of Sarlat. Everything you might want to visit is in walking distance and there is ample free parking nearby. The room was spotless, very comfortable (gorgeous linen on the bed!). It also had good quality air con which was appreciated as we were there during a heatwave. Susan and Stephen were both super helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and trips out of Sarlat. The breakfast buffet was also great and changed both days we were there - lovely fresh bread, cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, cereals, fruits and yoghurts.

A little work taking luggage up to the 3rd floor.

The house is well kept 3 story B&B with 5 or 6 rooms. Breakfast room on the main floor, all nicely decorated. The location is ideal for walking around Sarlat.
