Roadworks outside the property which start at 7am. The other residents of the building were a bit noisy later at night. Earplugs and close the windows overnight recommended.

Exactly as expected from the photos and description. Camelia is a very helpful host who gave me full info and checked via message, every day to see all okay Very comfortable and super bathroom.

The apartment is beautifully renovated but keeping the charm of the old building. It was exceptionally clean and there were many added touches such as shower gel, extra towels, lots of toilet paper. Carmelia was lovely and very easy to communicate with. A fantastic place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Hard to think of anything negative. If anything, there was a bit of noise from the bar/restaurant downstairs if you’re sensitive to that but the best choice is to go down and join them!

Excellent location, very pleasant and well-equipped modern apartment in a lovely old building. Easy check-in and -out.

Very central location - near to both good shops, Hotel de Ville square and the Rotonde. Lots of shops and places to eat. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Very old historic building but great updates, especially to kitchen and bathroom. The photo I added shows the historic fountain that could be seen from the apartment window. (Potable water like all fountains in Aix!)

This is very large newly renovated studio with high ceiling , large kitchen area , confortable bed , separated bathroom . Everything is new decorated in good taste , sleek, and impeccably clean, with double pane windows perfectly soundproof . Great location Certainly the best deal in town . I highly recommend it .

TV was too complicated. I could not find channels like tfv1 2 3. No other negative comments. A short list of local suoermarched would have helped

The host does really try to explain check in but like other reviews here it is still a bit confusing. The best explanation is the lock box is in the alleyway behind the apartment, and the apartment door is right next to the restaurant on the main street facing the fountain. Hope that helps others in future!

An incredible, spacious, newly renovated and clean apartment in the heart of Aix. Host was always very quick to respond. There is street parking which is free at night otherwise there are paid carparks a short walking distance. Building felt safe and secure. So close to everything you need and want to visit. Laundry right nearby too at a good price. The restaurant below the apartment is delicious too. People may worry being above a restaurant and bar that it would be really noisy at night but the double glazed windows meant we didn't hear anything from the streets below.

The locks took a bit of practice but made us feel the studio was quite secure - so this was more of a positive :)

Very clean and excellent bathroom facilities. Once we got a fan, the temperature was fine. Very good wifi and most convenient location.

The instructions to find the lock box could be worded better. Eg The lockbox is in a different street to the front entrance of the apartment building…. There was a lot of information and photos that took a while to download/read once and a little ambiguous unless you read it all closely once at the location.

Well designed and spacious studio apartment in an excellent location. Great heating, shower and bed. Double glazed windows so there was no street noise once closed. It was newly renovated simply and tastefully. A very comfortable stay.

The front door lock was a little difficult to open every single time. That made it difficult the first time because we were then unsure we had the right key and the right door!

The room was lovely and very comfortable and very centrally located.

The only disappointment was the lack of natural light inside the apartment. Wooden window blinds created privacy. No screens.

The location and ease of access was excellent. The owner answered all questions promptly.

We were confused on the property address. Perhaps, because the street number was located on the property next to the door (to go in the studio) and it was not a pleasant sight. Our first impression was "oh no, it can't be". However, once we communicated with Ms. Camelia- we quickly realized that the unoccupied suite next door was not the actual address of the studio. And yes, like others have mentioned about the condition of the hallway- I can honestly say, that I personally witnessed leaves getting blown inside as we opened the door. There is not much that can be done with that. The restaurant next door can be loud, but once we closed the windows- we slept like a baby :)

The location was perfect and within walking distance to everything-including the bus station for our day trips to Marseille and Avignon. Near several laundry places as well. The studio was a perfect size for a couple- very cozy. It is a fully furnished studio and it is beautifully decorated. Simple and elegant. The owner was easy to communicate with and she conveyed to me that she is available at any given time if needed.
