We had an amazing stay for our anniversary. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The room was super comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from our room was beautiful overlooking the sea and famous Barmouth bridge and it was in an ideal location close to town but far enough away that it was peaceful. We would 100% return.

The views were fantastic over the bay to Fairbourne. We were met by Gary on our arrival, and immediately upgraded us to a sea view room. It was close to all amenities too.

The hotel overlooks the bay, with a big car park. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with really comfortable beds. The touch light on the bathroom mirror was an extra bonus! Great Communication from the owner and the staff were really helpful.

There were no bedside tables in our rooms, there were also no plugs by the bed to charge phones at night. Missing headboard on the bed and the pillows were not comfortable which affected our sleep.

Sam was incredibly helpful and welcoming when we first arrived. It is a beautiful old building that has been decorated really well, especially the bathroom that has an amazing shower! It is in a fantastic location with some absolutely fantastics views at the top of the hill. Breakfast was delicious!

Lovely room with exceptional view, you immediately feel at home and very welcome. We were upgraded too which was especially nice for our anniversary - thank you Gary! We had stayed for one night to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy Barmouth, we arrived just as Storm Amy was rolling in, but we had a lot of fun nonetheless. Gary recommended for us to visit the Fanny Talbot for dinner which was truly outstanding. There are a good number of high quality restaurants in Barmouth and can’t wait to try more when we come back in the near future. Fantastic breakfast, extensive choice of fruit, pastries, cereals, yoghurts and toast. A lovely cooked menu, the full Welsh breakfast cooked by Sam was excellent. Gary, Sally, Sam and everyone at the B&B were lovely, would’ve loved to have stopped longer. Thanks again for making us feel so welcome and would very much recommend to others. We’ll see you again soon :)

Very steep access road on foot so you need to be reasonably able to walk in and out of town. The minimalist bedroom decor felt a bit empty in a large room but that could just be me.

Beautiful views. Great communal lounge and bar area with honest self service system. Happy to accommodate a room change on arrival when the one we booked was up too many stairs for my old dog. Bed was very comfortable.

Lovely view across the bay from our room. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We had everything we needed. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Perfect location for Barmouth, out of the way, but easy to walk into town for food and shops etc. Lovely walks to the beach or the hills from the doorstep.

Nothing! Everything was great - although our room at the top and there were lots of stairs (fine for us but worth noting for anyone with mobility issues or big suitcases!)

Beautiful property, full of character and great view. Such friendly hosts and a lovely communal area where people chilled in the evening. Beautiful pink bench and special cocktail dedicated to their daughter 🩷 We loved wondering down to the beach for the evening, playing in the arcade, watching the sunset, then finishing the evening with a cocktail in the hotel bar. The veggie breakfast was also delicious!

This place is exceptional. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The location is superb with beautiful views everywhere! The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds and an amazing breakfast. Gary and Clare went out of their way to ensure my sister and I had a wonderful time here.

Spacious and modern family room with nice bathroom, nicely decorated with everything we needed. The breakfast was very good. Beautiful location, and good car park. The day we were leaving we could leave the car for longer and enjoy the day. Also, we liked honesty bar.

Our room overlooked the car park, was quite expensive. At the top of a really steep hill so walking into and out of Barmouth was hard, especially as a busy road and really narrow pavements
