Darcey's is a wonderful place to stay..the room was beautiful and clean ..with a lovely comfy bed and pillows..Paula and Steve were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.. Breakfast was delicious 😋 ..a lovely hidden Gem in a great location...we will definitely be staying here again 🙂

Wow, what can we say! Darceys in the yard was one of the best places we have stayed! The hosts Paula and Steve were so lovely and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. They were very knowledgeable about hornsea and where there were good places to eat in the town. The continental breakfast was amazing and so delicious too 😋 We can't wait to come back soon! 😊

From the moment we arrived Paula & Steve were so welcoming when they showed us our room we both were wowed its beautiful, so well presented and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was brought to us by paula in the morning a lovely selection of hot and cold, pefect end to our stay.

Due to connection logistics the toilet has to be in the wet room so a little wet on the feet if showered prior to going to sleep, although not too much of a problem as there’s foot towels.

Very clean and comfortable. The host was very nice and extremely helpful for anything needed. The breakfast is made fresh and delicious with a large selection, including croissants, breads, granola yoghurts, fruits and various jams etc. It came with a nice fresh orange juice and tasty coffee. Great location and a very comfortable bed.

An absolute gem, perfectly placed for us. The host Paula was brilliant and so welcoming. The breakfast delivered to our room was superb. We loved the room, which had everything we needed.

The only slight downside was the toilet being located at the far end of the wetroom. The owner explained that this was due to plumbing restrictions when they developed the room and was happy for us to used the bathmat to reach the toilet if the floor was wet. On the plus side, it meant that the shower area was spacious and the shower worked really well (not often the case in our experience). I would much rather have this arrangement than a tiny shower cubicle with an eratic shower.

The location was right in town, but away from any traffic noise. There was a lovely sitting area outside. Breakfast was semi-continental and really good. The owner couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.
