Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsCarpet in the room was loose and wrinkled on the floor and there were no drawers or shelves for clothing. Just hanging space. We were there for a week and had to live out of suitcases on the floor. This was not what we expected for these prices.
Staff were super helpful, pleasant and empathetic. Couldn't have be better. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel was one of a kind. Everything went well except for my niece's light in her room was flickering and a kind Indian gentleman addressed the matter speedily without hesitation.

United KingdomApart from me booking the wrong DoubleTree Hotel, we were on the wrong side of the Thames for The Titanic museum - there was nothing not to like.
Hotel is situated near the Thames so has beautiful views - we had to be moved unfortunately, due to the air con not working and the windows did not open. We did have like for like so second room had same views. The air con did work better in the new room but could not get the air con to go onto the 'icicle' setting so stuck on 20.5 room temperature however, I did find a window that could open which did do a better job than the air con. Duty Manager very friendly and obliging. We had voucher for a free drink and 20% off our evening meals which were very tasty and generous. Even so, after all said and done, I would stay here again.

United KingdomI was just on a stopover and didnt want to venture far, so the dining options were a bit of a disappointment. Also, not a criticism of the hotel itself but it is about 20 mins walk from the airport, under a bridge underpass that I would not be happy walking on my own in the dark so had to book an overpriced taxi.
The staff were faultless and the main reason I left the hotel which such a positive view. They were professional, friendly, knowledgable and quick at dealing with requests. In terms of the room, it was comfortable enough and clean, water and coffee supplied for free, but a bit tired looking.

United KingdomI did not like that the room had minimal lighting, it was so dark, especially the bathroom. Difficult if trying to get ready and apply makeup, or as a man if you are shaving. Shower/bath really small, not suitable for tall or broad people as you are literally brushing against the walls and side.

United KingdomLounge area had plenty of comfortable seating ideal for groups, large tvs and proximity to bar for ordering food etc. Staff were very pleasant, Daisy on the reception desk made us feel welcome on our arrival and organised the groups rooms.

United KingdomWe were in room 602 which was on the top floor. The bathroom fan was very noisy and there was no way of us turning it off. So the next morning we asked for it it to be switched off. But even after this there were other unexplained noises like a motor running for ten seconds and then turning off to only restart again after about a minute or so, really annoying. Drinks and food expensive.
Location was just a short walk from Prince regents DLR station and the Excel centre. Hotel facilities that we seen were all very nice and the staff all seemed friendly. The rooms were of a good standard and appeared to be very clean. Pub very close by.
