Everything was great but it may be helpful to be aware that there are no facilities close by and turning out of the drive and some of the nearby road junctions can be a little tricky.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Not huge but big enough for two people to spend a few days. Kettle, toaster and microwave provided as well as adequate tea, coffee and breakfast supplies including homemade bread and local berries. Elaine and Bruce were lovely and communication was timely and helpful. Dedicated parking space.

We knew it was going to be a smallish room and our thinking that we could eat in on a couple of occasions proved not to be possible. Thankfully our hosts could advise on local good value eating places. It would have helped to have the microwave machine on a higher shelf as reading the settings was very difficult at kneeling height.

The ‘cottage’ was tastefully decorated with wonderful use of space. Linens and kitchen utilities were of a very high standard. Everything had been thought of to maximise space and layout. The kitchenette area had everything one could wish for with a well stocked small fridge. The shower and bathroom were welled provided for with toiletries and ultra clean. The communication prior to our arrival was very helpful and the owners Elaine & Bruce could not have been friendlier or helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and their willingness to make us feel welcome in their attached little accommodation and their delightful garden was second to none. Liked everything.

The continental breakfast in our room was very good. Cereals, tea, coffee, yogurt, strawberries, OJ & delicious home made bread. The room was well appointed & Elaine, our host was able to provide anything else we needed. Access to the beautiful garden was a real bonus.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cosy Cottage so there's not much to fault. Just a couple of more breakfast options would have been great.

We had a lovely stay at the Cosy Cottage and really enjoyed chatting with Bruce and Elaine. They were welcoming and keen to make our stay comfortable. The room was more than comfortable and quiet, the garden was beautiful and we loved watching the birds.

Attached to the owner's house but with a separate front door and access to the lovely large garden with choices of seating for meals outside. A charming family host this perfect spot for a stay for two which is near to Chichester, the coast and many interesting attractions such as the Fishbourne Roman Villa. We experienced hot, sunny days but there are plenty of wet weather options nearby if you are not so lucky. Breakfast is provided and was plentiful and included a delicious homemade loaf.

Great communication prior to the arrival and during the stay. Individual, unique, charming cottage and lovely welcoming, generous hosts. Lots of great touches, wildflowers in the bedroom, decaf options to drink, fresh home-made bread, green cleaning products! Relaxed timings and a share in a beautiful and spiritually uplifting garden watching the nesting birds.

Only things really was the door was very stiff to close, wood I assume had expanded. And there isn't actually a key to the bedroom room, but when I was going to leave, Elaine made that no trouble and asked if I'd like the key to the middle door that separates their home and the rented space (bathroom and bedroom) I said yes please, and I had that for a little bit until I came back, returned it so she could collect used pots (to wash up etc) - No trouble :)

Everything was beautiful and comfortable here. Elaine was the sweetest, kindest, mother like host I could've wished for, she was just wonderful. I had just come out of hospital, very tired and in pain, she was amazing. PG tip teabags! - You know it's decent. Everything I needed. Could've stayed for an entire week. Parking on site, beautiful little bathroom. Loads of plugs everywhere to charge devices, comfort bed and blankets, lots of cushions and window seat looking into a large back garden (I didn't have a chance to walk around because of pain but will in the future) Warm, lots of little freebee breakfast bits, biscuits, fresh homemade bread... Just... literally so so nice! I can't wait to stay again!

Really lovely and cosy room. The bed was super comfortable and I personally loved the little fairy lights. Lovely snacks and homemade bread available. Lovely hosts who made us feel very comfortable. Wonderful location too and we enjoyed some beautiful walks. Such a perfect stay :)

Going home!

We really enjoyed our stay with Elaine and Bruce. They are lovely friendly hosts who make you feel at home straight away. Their property & garden are beautiful. It is such a nice peaceful area. We loved the decor in the room , it was very comfortable and breakfast was nice. Home made bread was a nice touch! We would love to stay at the Plovers Cottage again.

The room was very cosy and equipped with everything to make you feel at home. The breakfast was excellent and the views to the garden were even better. The couple that manages the room are super friendly and they made our stay perfect.

We booked to visit Goodwood Revival and this propery was a easy drive to the race track. The owner's Elaine and Bruce could not be more helpful and arrange for us to use the bque area and outside dining area on a warm summer's night. Big thank you to Bruce who kindly gave us lift back early in the morning to get back to our hire car (which decided to break down on Saturday night of the revival) was a godsend !!! and we got back to enjoy the motor racing on the Sunday. The breakfast supplied was great and the home made bread was special. Highly recommend this property in a quiet area and a lovely garden setting.
