We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomSpacious pub with ample free parking and clean, well equipped rooms. Requested a low floor, dog friendly room and got one without any fuss. Access was great as they had a low gradient ramp access from the rooms to the bar & eating areas. Dog friendly areas are sensibly demarcated. Rooms, food and drinks are sensibly priced. Secure out of hours access was available with key. Excellent breakfast, right up there with the best we’ve had. Staff were a real asset to this place; friendly and professional. We recommend the Huntsman to everyone and will stay again.

The location was fantastic, amazing view from our room every morning and the pub itself, lovely comfy room and a great nights sleep, tea, coffee, bottles of water and biscuits. The staff were excellent, so kind and helpful , we had an evening meal on our first night and the food was outstanding especially the pie , one small gripe was a family member with us ordered the ravioli and it was the smallest bowl and portion you will see which was strange given how good all the other portions were, the apple crumble for pudding was delicious. They also had a fantastic choice of beers. We didn’t have breakfast as we met up with family on a morning who took us out in the area but will definitely be trying it when we stay again, great for parking and relaxing, the whole place is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean and the prices were excellent to stay, we look forward to returning
