10 min walk from the village which isn’t a bad thing

It was truly a guesthouse. I felt like a guest in their home, although I didn’t eat with the family, I met and chatted with many members of the family. I was also the only guest. The food was great-dinner and breakfast. The hostesses are warm and kind. Much of the wood furniture is handmade by Irma’s father or brother.

We were there in winter and the room was OK but cold, even if they tried to warm it with radiator and blankets. Also, the children are cute but can be noisy in the evening.

Both Irma and Nino were very nice. Nino's cooking is amazing and Irma has good recommendations for hiking and activities. We were glad of the time we spent with them.

From my room to the bathroom you had to actually leave the house and go up some stairs around back which wasn't ideal. I'm pretty sure my room was the only one that had that problem though so it was just bad luck and Irma apologized for it too. No big deal for me

Nice staff, great and very filling breakfast. There are 3 bathrooms with showers for 5 rooms so that was great. Very quiet at night. Kitchen area and nice terrace to relax on. There are beehives, cows, cats and dogs around and the whole place had a real rural feeling to it. It was about a 10 minute walk to town which was fine. If you're looking for a cheap and simple quiet place to rest, this was it for me. Highly recommend!

Incredible beautiful property. The hosts are very kind and the breakfast was delicious. It's a short walk from the town center so the location is very calm. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Mestia.

One of the rooms is disconnected to the toilets, and requires going up and down the stairs in order to get to them. It can be a bit annoying+more problematic when it's cold. As said above, the guesthouse is located a bit far from the center, so a short walk is required. It's not a hard walk though.

Irma is very nice and speek English very well. There are multiple toilets and bathrooms, so even if the house is full most of the time there is no waiting for the toilet. It's located in a quiet part of the village (could also be a disadvantage, see below). The beds are comfortable.

The owner “Irma” is just lovely and kind person! Since we are from Japan, she tried to say some Japanese that she knows to communicate with us! The breakfast was delicious and the bed was so cozy. We love this guest house!

Great guest house with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. There was a nice outside balcony to sit when the weather is nice. The guest house is just outside the main centre of the town, but it’s an easy walk into the main area. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely hosts that can give you tipps for hiking in the area and are happy to help with anything you need. Eventhough there's a lot of open spaces and Mestia can get pretty cold, the beds are super comfy and warm :) Also if you're planning a longer hike, you can leave some of your stuff at the stay.

We stayed here before and after the Mestia to Ushguli hike and had a great time. The family was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic.

I ended up staying here nearly three weeks, changing my plans day by day and Irma was so nice about it. She, and her family is lovely. We had some great talks, I got to join milking the cows and making cheese. She also recommended hikes in the area. The house has a great balcony and several bathrooms. It's a short walk from the main street of Mestia which was refreshing. Fingers crossed I will be back one day!

Everything was good.

Irma and her family were extremely friendly and accommodating. They made us breakfast at 7:30 by request before we left for the Mestia to Ushguli trek (which is earlier than a lot of other guesthouses). The day we left Mestia, kindly made us sandwiches in the morning so we had something to eat for lunch for very reasonable price. They kept our extra luggage during our trek with no additional fee. The guesthouse was clean, shower with good water pressure and hot water, beds were comfortable. They kindly let us use the washing machine.

We had a really nice stay with Irma and her family. They are kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were delicious❤️ We mostly enjoyed home made yougurt and bread. The accomodatiom was clean.

We immediately liked the vibe of the place, the best guest house we've visited so far in Svanetia. Irma is the perfect host, friendly, always willing to help, knowledgeable of local hikes, and she speaks good English. The other staff are also friendly and helpful. The location is excellent (secluded and quiet, but only a few minutes walk from the centre of Mestia), the food is great, and the guest house is kept spotlessly clean.

It was a little hard to find, which was a bit testing after a long days walk.

It was very clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. We arrived quite hungry from a long day of walking and they managed to prepare us a magnificent dinner in around 15 mins which was very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend

Irma was a brilliant host who helped us plan our hike from Mestia to Ushguli and looked after some of our stuff while we're doing it. The food was great, the setting and home fantastic. Highly recommended.
