Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The beds are OK
The staff is amazing and so nice ! They don’t speak English very well but I could communicate fairly easily. There is so common spaces that are nice to use . For the price, the bathroom was really good with floor heating !!

Tamara is a generous and attentive host. The breakfast is royal, I recommend it before a day of hiking! I definitely recommend this house.

The place is a very nice, traditional house, and the host is just such a kind person who, since the other rooms were free, even showed us the rest and let us choose the one we like the most, and she was always there for us even offering tea, coffee or pastries.

Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the centre in a quiet street. Amazing views of the mountains. From the shared terrace you can see the famous Gergeti Trinity Church and Mount Kazbek . On the terrace there are comfortable chaiand blankets so you can site for hours watching the changing views of the peaks as the clouds drift by The family were so welcoming and helpful. There is the possibility to have breakfast which is amazing . This is a gem of a place

Tamari was a great host, she is a very nice person and a great cook! She prepared gorgeous breakfast and dinner for us and took care of our two little children. :-) She speaks enough English to get along, her daughter who is often around speaks very well English and is happy to help if needed. We enjoyed our stay a lot with the great view to Kazbegi!

Nothing. Everything was perfect. The room and facilities were better than the pictures. Pictures of this place don't do justice.
The place was very neat and tidy. Everything you would want is there. Our hosts, Nato and Tamari were great. Amazing hospitality, made us feel welcome. So warm and nice. Every evening they would spend talking with us, sharing wine, food and stories. We really felt at home! Madloba!

There is nothing not to like about the Sunny Mountain House. Hot water, quiet, beautiful views. Extra blankets should it get cold. Nothing not to like.
The Sunny Mountain House is immaculately clean. Given that it is located in such a agrarian community this is very noteworthy. The owner greeted me warmly and made me feel at home. The location is central to the restaurant, bus area and 2 minutes away from the Tourist Information Bureau.

We could hear the neighbors from the upper floor, but it wasn’t a big trouble at all.
The shower, the heated floor in the bathroom, the size of the room. Very nice owners that offer tea/coffee. We felt very welcomed. We’ll definitely recommend to anyone and stay again one day.

Everything was perfect. 10/10 unequivocally.
This was the best guesthouse I stayed at in Georgia. The owners were so kind and helpful throughout my stay, giving out foods and drink to try, even a plate of homemade khinkali one day. The rooms are modern and spacious, much better than most expensive hotels, and the whole place is maintained spotlessly clean at all times. There is a terrace that you can while away the evenings on, watching the changing moods of Kazbegi! What else can I say? It was so great that I came back multiple times between treks to rest up for a few days. I would always come back here.

The host was really wonderful, very helpful and nice. We had to go on the top of mount Kazbek and the host, Nato, helped us with logistic for transport of equipment to the base camp. Also, she arranged transport for us from and to the airport. Perfect communication in English. I highly recommend this accommodation unit.

* A couple of times during my four night stay, the water disappeared during the night.
* Excellent location for those who want to do the Gergeti Glacier hike, walk up to the Gergeti Trinity Church or simply get some great views of the surrounding areas. * My room was relatively big. * The desk in my room to work with my laptop. * People were friendly. It felt safe and private.

The house had a beautiful view, was very clean and welcoming! The bedroom was a great size and it's own little balcony for a morning coffee looking at the town and mountains. It's a short 2min-walk from the center of town with all the restaurants, very convenient! Nato and her mother were very warm and helpful, highly recommend staying here !!

Everything was awesome
The owner of the hotel is a very kind and amazing person ❤️ whole family was kind and helpful they allowed us to use their kitchen. They even arranged transportation for us to visit church. We loved the house location, which is central, and the view from the balcony was amazing. Definitely, we will be going back there again 😊

Lovely host and family. The weather was cold and rainy when we visited and it was nice to have a clean, cozy, and spacious place to relax. Great location - central and right up the street from an awesome local restaurant. It felt like home!
