How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Tazo and his family really made me feel at home away from home. At first, I booked for a short stay and then I decided to stay for a month. I felt welcomed, loved and cared for. I couldn't have asked for a better homestay for my first visit to Georgia. Oh and Baia's (mum's) homemade breakfast is the best - U gamriellisi! (It means "very delicious" Georgian) She learnt that I like to eat healthy so she made healthy breakfast for me everyday with love ☺️ Mum and Grandma even taught me basic Georgian words. All my needs were met and Tazo was always there to help me with anything I needed. Overall, I came to Tbilisi as a solo traveller and left with a new family and a good friend - Madloba Tazo 🤜🏾🤛🏼

The only thing missing was an elevator, but that’s just the feature of the house itself. Carrying a heavy suitcase up to the room isn’t really possible, but there is safe storage available on the ground floor.
The place was wonderful – I really liked everything! The host was incredibly attentive and helpful. He kindly helped me unload our luggage from the car upon arrival and load it back when we left. It’s a family-run hotel in a spacious cottage. Breakfast was served at their family table, and I truly experienced the depth of Georgian hospitality. For the price, this was an excellent choice.

The only drawback of a room without a balcony on the second floor is that the mattress is not very good.
I stayed at this hotel twice. The first time in a room with a balcony, the second time without (although I booked with a balcony). The rooms are clean and cozy. Good full breakfast, very nice owners.

We were absolutely delighted with the guesthouse! The hosts were incredibly kind and hospitable, and we want to express our heartfelt thanks to them. They created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The room was very comfortable, with a soft and cozy bed, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The location is excellent, with everything we needed close by. We especially enjoyed the lovely courtyard, which was perfect for relaxing. The stable Wi-Fi was a great bonus. A huge thank you to the hosts for their warm hospitality — we will definitely return!

Really great home-like experience, the room was clean and comfortable, hosts are friendly and welcoming. Homemade healthy breakfast that was included in our room rate made our stay even better.

The hotel owners are a very polite and hospitable Georgian family. Very good communication and attitude towards clients. Good location. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby. Comfortable and clean room, renovated. I recommend!

The bathroom was bad, with no clear separation between the shower, toilet and sink areas. Problems with the entrance to the hotel, usually I was returning after 2 am and twice the door to the building was already locked, not lethal, but it was unpleasant.
Personal was great, very welcoming people. The location was also good, the underground station not far from the hotel.
