The Alkionides Pension Hydra provided the perfect stay. It was not very far from the port & easy walking distance to grocery shops, tavernas & other places of interest. The room was spotless & had a lovely outdoor seating area. My host was delightful & was very helpful whenever I had a query. I highly recommend this place as a peaceful retreat away from home.

Situated near to iconic locations yet surprisingly quiet. Impeccably clean room stocked with all the essentials. Hard working and attentive staff focussed on making your stay comfortable and stress free. Will definitely stay here again for our next visit to Hydra

The property was great. No negatives at all.

The central location was perfect but there was minimal outside noise - a quiet oasis. A great communal courtyard that was cool and inviting. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable and very clean.

Took a bit to get used to the shower.

Everything! The studio was spacious and the large private terrace was fabulous. The decor is on a relaxed modern style with quality furnishings, linen and products. The twin beds in the studio were very comfortable and could also be made into a king for a couple. It was quiet at night and the morning sun on the terrace delightful. The host Stella looked after us very well.

I liked the facilities but would not choose the basement next time I visit.

Very quiet. Room was very good and cleaned perfectly. Wifi was great. Air conditioner was fine. Toilet facilities were good.

A large bright room with a comfortable bed. The hosts were friendly and the courtyard was a great place to relax at the end of the day. Very close to the port but in a quiet secluded location.

I never had hot or warm water to shower with. I addressed it and they said since my room was the farthest away (I chose one in the ground level) that they would need to do something and for me to wait 5-10 minutes but I still ended up taking cold showers! My parents stayed in a room on level 1 and it was small for 2 people and didn't have much counter space.

The location was excellent. A short walk up one main street from the harbor - very ideal, especially after learning how far other people were staying. Hydra is walking or mule ride only and there are hills the further you go from the harbor. We chose this hotel due to location and since we needed two rooms, it was the most cost effective. The couple that owns and lives there were helpful and available any time we needed something. It's tucked away in a quiet area - no noise ever. Appreciated the fridge/sink in my room.

Nothing really, there was no fan in the bathroom but that didn’t bother me.

Excellent location, welcoming owner and the room was very nice. Daily supply of water, coffee and milk. Comfortable bed, great shower and altogether a really pleasant place to stay.
