Mattress and pillows ok but not great, noise from down the street and shop - as the location is very central, smell of sewer - but that was a problem in other areas of the town too

The fridge made a noise which was a bit disconcerting at night. I’m sure it just needs a minor adjustment.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in the heart of beautiful Hydra. (There are lots of stairs up to the first floor where the rooms are so it would not be an ideal property for those with limited mobility.) The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of space to hang clothes and store luggage. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a refrigerator to store water and snacks. The breakfast was taken on the Port House roof terrace just a couple of minutes walk from the Guest House. We didn’t take it every day but there was plenty of choice on the occasions that we did. The staff at Douskas were friendly and helpful and the housekeeping was excellent. All in all a very good choice of accommodation and we would definitely return should we make another visit to Hydra.

The only thing I didn't like was the tiny TV with only a few local stations. Had to watch Netflix on my tablet.

The room was charming and we had a lovely private patio. The breakfast at Douskos Port House was superb. Great food and view.

Mattress was not that comfortable I thought there was a safe(no)and in shower the metal drainage cover was loose and big hole underneath and a slight issue with flooring coming up by bed.

We enjoyed our stay in Hydra very quaint island and guesthouse was an old building with antique furniture,high ceilings and wooden shutters.Staff were very friendly and accommodating.we had to go to their other hotel Doukous port house in the harbour for breakfast which I didn’t realise but only a short walk.Breakfast there was a menu to choose from all ok staff friendly and helpful it was a bit breezy on roof terrace but fine.

A perfect location, quiet but close to everything at the port. We loved our little balconies. Great staff and service. Breakfast at their nearby property was tasty and there was a great view from that rooftop terrace.

Breakfast was excellent. It was served on a rooftop on the Port, with the most magnificent view of the Port of Hydra.Every detail was attended too. I have no criticism. I will return!

Simple styled room, clean and bright. OK for a 2 day stay.. Easy access to port, restaurants and what Hydra had to offer. Rooftop breakfast was delightful. Friendly staff.

As it is an old property, there are lots of stairs, and no lift, which may be problematic for people with mobility issues or large luggage. My bathroom window didn't have a blind.

Lovely characterful Guesthouse in a brilliant location for the ferry and for Hydra Old Town. I loved the balcony overlooking the cathedral and the harbour. Comfy bed. The room had a little bit of luxury about its decor. The breakfast on the roof terrace at sister hotel, Douskos Port House was a fantastic start to the day. The view is beautiful!

Nothing. I had to add one night to my stay in Hydra (because of Air Canada) and it was the only place available. No cheap, but amazing.

Unfortunately our aircon stopped working in the middle of the night, which made the sleep uncomfortable.

Great location, right by the port. Angeliki was extremely nice and helpful with giving us directions and tips on what to do on Hydra. The included breakfast was lovely and served on a fantastic terrace a short walk from the accommodation.

The front facing room was great, but the bedroom remained very hot through the night despite the a/c.

The upstairs bed will be an issue for older people that are not that mobile. Quite a few wall fixtures coming loose.

Excellent location close to the ferry port. Lovely aircon - it was very hot outside. Very friendly and helpful reception. Great bed and cushions.
