I didn’t love the complex the hostel is in and wasn’t expecting it, but it was perfectly safe (female solo traveller). I didn’t love the shower set up but apparently it’s pretty standard for HK.

Location was great. Room had all the amenities you need and clean towels were provided daily. Staff were so so lovely and helpful. Was allowed to leave my luggage there until 5pm on the day of check out which was incredibly helpful.

The staff is very kind to help us to call the airport staff when we have difficulties of delayed luggage. They are also fast is responding in messages sent via this platform. The location of this hotel is great. For muslim, there is many halal food options around there.

Nothing, just on some days I was trying to sleep in. The receptionist was watching videos on his phone with the sound on. That kind of disturb my nap :)

The location is excellent. It's near the subway and there is an Airport bus nearby. It is also close to knutsford terrace, where you can have a drink or two. Well I guess there is just much action in Tsim Sha Tsui. The rooms are very clean, and the staff is very helpful. It was better than I expected for Mirador Mansion. It may look a but shady on the outside, but it's a good place to stay once your in your room. One time I forgot my key, you could call them and they were very helpful. Remember to take the right elevator to the 13th floor. They also have another "house" on the 6th floor.

The building it's in is quite run down (though it seems like this is a historic building), and the room is just a bit cramped. But that's HK, I guess.

The rooms are pretty small, so if you are two people, make sure it is someone you feel comfortable sharing close quarters with.

The location is phenomenal, right next to a popular MTR stop, which is 1 stop away from central. The man at the desk was very sweet and helpful, and the place is very clean, and cleaned daily. The hostel is a part of a large shopping/residential complex, so it's not super intuitive to find, but the staff give detailed instructions on how to access the main centre and your room.

Can't really complain about anything. I can see how some tourists unfamiliar with Hong Kong could've been sketched out by the location in Mirador Mansions, especially if they checked in late at night, but Hong Kong is generally super safe and like the charm of these old-school places that make me feel like I'm in a 90's kung fu movie. The window faces an alley type thing so sunlight isn't super bright but it's enough that you feel like a person and not a vampire.

The bed was comfortable, it was pretty clean, somewhat spacious by Hong Kong standards, and right next to the MRT...for the cheap price I really can't complain about anything. I also called up the management from my room and asked for late checkout at 1pm and they gave it to me for free which was super nice (I don't know if any new guests were coming for that room that day but regardless it was super nice of them). I've stayed at a comparable cheap small single room place in Chungking Mansions (a similar nearby building that also has a lot of tiny hotel/hostels) before and thought this was nicer in terms of bed comfort, space, and noise.

The bathroom looked very worn out and not particularly clean, there was a bad smell coming from the drain. Also very tiny, you have to sit sideways on the toilet in order to fit. The room was also very small as well as the bed. We are a couple and we are small so we could fit but if you are a tall person or you have a lot of luggage I would not recommend it. There is simply nowhere to put it. If you want a nicer room with more space you should book the twin bed room, it is a more normal-looking room but it costs more. The building is huge, very old and ugly, smells like mold everywhere. But most of the buildings in this area are like this. In general, for me it was quite surprising that for the same price one could book a fancy hotel room south on the island, but in the centre of Hong Kong you get a box-like one with suspicious cleanliness. But all other alternatives were the same so it is what it is.

The location is what we booked this hotel for. It is a walkable distance from the metro station, supermarkets, malls, the Victoria Harbour. The check in and check out were easy. The receptionist showed us how to find our room and how to go out as the building is like a labyrinth. We could leave our bags after check out for a few hours. The room was quiet, the air-conditioner was working fine. It was okay for a short stay.
