I booked our stay a few months prior our flight. Closer to our arrival, the host got in touch with me and provided me with proper details on where the apartment is located, what transportation I can take from the airport to the apartment along with how I can gain access to the apartment. Getting to the apartment was super easy and convenient with buses running to and from airport. The apartment itself was spacious (for HK standards). We were travelling as a family of 5 and had 3 rooms. 2 of the rooms had almost King sized beds and the other was a bunk bed. There was living room, kitchen and bathroom too. The host was attentive and responsive to any queries I had prior our stay and during our stay too. She was very accommodating. The apartment is located at a very good location. Buses & MTR are all walking distance. Loads of shops for everything from pharmacies to bakeries to restaurants and grocery store. I will definitely recommend this apartment for families!

It had everything we needed.

A gold mine for location! 5 min walk to MTR, 2 min to ladies market, in the heart of Mongkok. Food and shops close by.

Be aware that this is a typical sized HK condo. It’s a stretch for 8 but still comfortable.

Great location, clean and just what my family of 6 needed for our short stay in Hong Kong. Communication with the owner was excellent. The unit is small but we really just needed a roof over our head for the evenings so it was perfect for us.

The building had a smoke/cigarette smell upon leaving the room. I did NOT notice this in the room. I am asthmatic which is the only reason I mention it.

It is very clean.

Can accommodate a big family. We are a family of 7, and we lived comfortably.

The elevator was broken the first day and we had to carry our bags up 11 floors to the unit.

Apartment is relatively near the MTR

Warning: You may NOT get the apartment you booked and paid for. We booked an apartment through Booking.com. However, the day before check-in, the host sent us to a different address. The apartment we were given was not the same as advertised. The apartment was of lower quality, poorly cleaned, much smaller, and had mould in the shower (see photos). It didn’t have a separate kitchen as advertised, making the living room even smaller. After arriving, I messaged the host immediately to query that the apartment was not the same. They replied to say that they have multiple apartments, which was only specified on the host information and not the listing information, which seems dubious. We sent photos showing the discrepancies between the advertised apartment and the one we were given and requested to be given the apartment we had booked and paid for. Unfortunately, she ignored this message and was unresponsive for the four-day stay and made no effort to resolve the situation. The host only reached out again the day before check-out to ask for our departure time. After we checked out, the host contacted us again to request a full-star review, asked for a second chance and said that she would give a special price next time and asked for forgiveness. This was disappointing, as it felt like the host knew that they had not been transparent in their advertising, especially since she ignored our message during our stay and didn’t try to resolve the situation. Since then, the host has included the information on the listing, probably in response to this issue (see screenshot of original listing), again knowing that this was an dubious practice as a host. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here.

The place is quiet, easy access, MTR is near, the apartment is complete and clean, affordable. Recommendable 5 star! Thanks to the owner 😊

Good and convenient location. Near bus stops and mtr station, near ladies market and sneaker street. The place is very clean and complete. Almost every port has adaptors. They also have hair dryer, microwave (perfect for takeouts), fridge, electric stoves with pots, rice cooker, plates and utensils, and electric kettle. Very spacious for a group of 7.

The apartment is very much like home away from home. The location is great, it's along the sneakers market and even the ladies market. Near in metro also so it's very accessible. The host is accomodating and gave us all the directions going to the apartment that it wasn't hard to get to the place from the first time. She entertains all my questions even before we got there and was very helpful during our stay.
