The location was fine. Because of the location, we have booked this place. Rest everything was not good and not even met our expectations. We have to stay for two days so next day, we have changed into next hostel in the same building, which is much better, cleaner and cheaper than this place.

I have booked this place for three people. The bed size clearly showed queen size or king size on the website and because my booking details says two adults with one kid but they have given us the twin size bed. Luckily the baby was not travelling with us. The reception guy called the management and instead of fixing their mistake, they were asking to switch the room with additional money if we stay for next day. It was like a bargain as if we did a mistake. We have requested the airport shuttle, and the reception never answered while coming from the airport and we directly came to the place with the cab. They never answered our calls and the number which was provided in the booking website does not work. We have arrived the destination around 1am and they have forced us to leave the premises between 10am to10:30am the same day. We did not like anything that made us worth our value of money. We were unable to move our body because it was very tight and congested place. We have felt as if we were inside the box. Luckily, we have got the next hostel in the same building with two beds and did the early check inn and slept whole day peacefully with value much cheaper, affordable and cleaner and the staff were polite and nice.

There was absolutely nothing we liked about the property except the location.

What the pictures don’t show is the way to the property. It is a bustling residence full of people selling all kinds of stuff. The smell is unbearable. You wait long queues to get in 1x1 elevator, where everyone squeezes in until it starts beeping bcs the weight is too much. If you decide to take the staircase you’ll be met with terrible smell and views of what looks and smells like human feces on the walls. When we got to the room the receptionist sprayed air refreshener in the room(not surprising), after a while the smell was terrible again. There were dirty slippers left in our room, we thought after a previous client, however when we asked the person who brought us to the room to take it out, I got us another pair of same dirty slippers. At night we saw a cockroach on the wall. And our blanket was covered in orange substance, so we slept without a cover the whole night. Our stay was supposed to be 9 nights. After one night we decided to LEAVE, and try to get our money back, the receptionist said that there’s a no refund policy, and called us liars, when we said there were cockroaches in the room (in the reception there are laying cans of cockroach repellent). They were completely unwilling to cooperate with us. After long discussions they were willing to put us in another room, looked better at first, we decided to leave and explore Hong Kong. When we got back we saw bed bugs in our room, at that point out 9 night stay was ended after one sleepless night. Upon checkout, we got smirked at by the receptionist, as if it’s not the first time someone checked out after one night.
