We would like to take a moment to explain our approach regarding bed linens. Out of environmental consideration, we do not automatically change sheets or pillowcases during a guest’s stay. This is because, in most cases, our guests keep the bedding clean, and we aim to reduce unnecessary water and energy usage. That said, we completely understand that small accidents or spills can happen, and we are always more than happy to provide fresh linens or replace pillowcases immediately whenever a guest requests it. We also want to reassure you that all our sheets and pillowcases are freshly cleaned and prepared in our own private in-house laundry room, so every item is hygienic and carefully maintained for our guests’ comfort. We apologize if this caused any inconvenience during your stay. Your comfort is very important to us, and we truly appreciate your understanding and consideration of our environmentally conscious practices. We appreciate your kind words about our cleanliness, well-organized and friendly staff, as well as the availability of outdoor tables where guests can enjoy their meals. We’re also glad you enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast by our two dedicated team members. Regarding the building and neighborhood, I’d like to mention that I’ve just uploaded a photo taken today of our building and it is nice. It was constructed in 2010 and, as you can see, it is in good condition and well maintained. We understand that the entrance did not look the best (it will have a retouch soon) but the area with playgrounds, square and parks are pretty good and safe too. Since we are here (more than 2 years) no incident happaned. But whatever you see in the city, please rest assured that this is not a reflection of the quality of service we provide inside. Many guests often refer to the beautiful garden full of citrus trees, flowers, and the lovely views of the surrounding rooftops - and we agree, it truly is a charming and peaceful spot. As for safety concerns, it is just as safe as the rest of Budapest. One of our female colleagues actually lives on the next street and she has never experienced any issues. We never understand comments regarding the location in any of the properties, since all future guests see the whole city, and you make the reservation with a purpose to one of the hotels. Our location is really good to start exploring the city: City Park (where the popular Széchenyi Thermal Bath, Vajdahunyad Castle, Balloon Fly, City Park Ice Rink, boating lake, Heroes’ Square, ZOO, House of Music, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Ethnography, and Circus are located) is also within a short 15-minute walk from us. That is like 2 days of programmes and within a 15-20 minute walk. Keleti Railway Station is the closest Metro station (5 minutes’ walk), where Metro line 2 (M2), 4 (M4) and also the buses, trams, and trolleybuses are running. If you book accommodation near Deák Square, you will still need to travel to visit many of the main sights, as Budapest is a large city divided into three primary areas of interest: (1) the area near Keleti Railway Station and City Park (where we are located), (2) the Buda Castle District, and (3) the city center around Deák Square.
