I have nothing to complain, If anything can make it better, a microwave to warm up my overnight Grab food in rainy days.

Peaceful and very clean place to stay. Cheap and their service was really good. You can ask them anything any time. Their responce will be quick. Even people help you go go get things from the shop. Laundy , bike rental and tour package all there.

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The pool and gardens are stunning and very well maintained. Our room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen—with a small fridge and stove—was really useful for self-catering. It’s in a great location, close to Ubud, and the hosts can organise bikes, laundry, massages, and tours. The family is lovely, very caring and easy to communicate with. They even brought us fruit and snacks during our stay! The nearby temple added something really special—we were lucky to witness several ceremonies. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, privacy, and warm hospitality.

Cempaka was a really nice experience for us. It is situated slightly north of the busy center of Ubud, making it a great base for sightseeing. The room was stylish & cozy, and the view on the swimming pool was nice. The swimming pool itself was lovely too! A great place to come back to after a day trip or activity in Ubud center. The laundry service exceeded all expectations and the driver they recommended was really nice as well. We asked a lot of questions and learnt a lot during the drive. Pak Kadek was a splendid host. He was very considerate and helpful with all the questions we had. We had the luck that a special ceremony was taking place in the nearby temple while we were there. Pak Kadek brought us along and guided us through the experience and Ibu Niwayan made sure we dressed respectable & traditional. We feel very lucky and grateful for that experience and their hospitality. This place is definitely recommended! Lastly: ask accommodations and drivers directly instead of through platforms if you can. A driver can recommend an accommodation and vice versa. It makes a big difference for them and their community.

On certain nights there was music from the nearby temple that I could hear until 11pm or so, and I'm generally an early to bed kind of person. Bring ear plugs just in case :)

The property owners were excellent, very attentive, and incredibly helpful in answering all my questions. The room was a great value for price! While not the closets to downtown Ubud, it's only a 10min. Gojek/motorbike away.

Had such a comfortable stay here. Little bit out of the centre but the owners sorted us bikes to rent really easily. Very hospitable owners, they even gave us a bowl of local fruit to try.

It is completely new place, so everything is in best condition. The most beautiful was smell in the room welcoming you after arrival, as well as the smell of towel and linen - first place I visited here that took care of it. The communication with owners was perfect, they were available all the time on whatsapp, ready to help. Calm and nice place. There ia also kitchen availablw with basic staff.

Kadek and his wife are extraordinary hosts; attentive, hospitable, generous. The bungalow, grounds, and pool are kept very well, particularly the pool which is a glorious shade of blue/green. The location is further out, away from the relative chaos of Ubud. There is an active temple just at the end of the street, which provides one with the feeling of living amongst true Balinese culture.

The location is good because you’re outside of the busy Ubud and close to some locations but for others you will need to take your motorbike for about 30-40minutes.

We loved staying here! The owners are super sweet and available to help. We could rent a motorbike with them and could order a taxi. We also added a third night ☺️ We had a big room with a big bathroom!! Highly recommended!

It's the best place we stayed at during our backpacking trip through Indonesia. The rooms are so beautiful and clean and the pool is super nice as well. The guest house is pretty new and our stay felt luxurious. The hosts are THE BEST! They cared so much for our well-being and comfort, I can highly recommend staying at this place.

I really enjoyed my stay. I had the most amazing time there, the room smeels so good and everything you need is there. The friendly owners greeted me with some traditional snacks.
