We’re SO sad to be leaving - highly recommended!

From the minute we arrived we were greeted with the biggest ‘Welcome Home’ by Ayu & her husband, and had the same greeting each & every time we headed out & came back from exploring! 🥰 Such lovely, caring people sharing nothing but kindness & smiles throughout our stay! Offered lots of helpful advice, lovely conversations & organised for our laundry to be washed - returned smelling amazing, ironed & folded by the next day! Ayu cooked us a delicious breakfast from scratch of banana pancakes, and kindly catered for my vegan friend cooking our pancakes with no egg & no milk! We are so sad to be leaving & hope to return one day! We couldn’t recommend higher, such a lovely home, set in a beautiful family temple! Accomodation great with blackout curtains making for really comfortable sleeps! Great location, really close to the centre, plenty to explore within walking distance & a short Gojek/Grab away! Thank you so much again for such a warm welcome throughout our stay, we are so grateful & feel very lucky to have had such a lovely first stay in Bali with you! 🥰

I felt like home! From the first moment on, Ayu and her husband were so warm, friendly and kind, they helped me with a scooter rental, laundry and pretty much everything. The breakfast Ayu cooked each morning was amazing! The room is very spacious and as tidy as one can be. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Ayu and his husband are lovely people, always welcoming back with a smile. The place is a beautiful setting with a lot of space, plants and trees and with a beautiful family hindu temple. 10 minutes walk from the centre, the place is ideally located to explore the surrounding areas. The room was very spacious and spotless clean. Breakfast were cooked with love 😁 I really felt like at home and I want to thank you for my beautiful time here. This family-run traditional house makes you feel at home. They have been so kind and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile and a chat. The setting is gorgeous, with tropical plants and trees that make you forget you're so close to the city center. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

I had a really great stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I was traveling for work and could rest peacefully in the morning thanks to the blackout curtains that kept the room dark. The shower had good water pressure, and the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place! 🌟

It could be little tough to walk from the Ubud palace to the hotel because of the hill (especially in hot daytime), but its not impossible since we walked there few times :)

We stayed in the newest room in Jero Griya and the room was spacious with lots of drawers and closets. It was nice and clean. The bed was comfy enough to have a good sleep. The bedding wasnt damp at all. The owner was very very kind and welcoming all the time. Felt like home. Wish I could go back soon!

What an amazing place in Ubud. Close to the action but in an amazing garden with peace and quiet. The owners were fantastic and could not ask for better. Free umbrellas were provided with all the rain we had. We were in Ubud during almost 48 hrs of rain, but thanks to our hosts we still had a fantastic time. The breakfasts were very very good and kept us going until late in the afternoon. This place is close to the action and close to the rice fields. We definitely recommend staying here. We really appreciated their beautiful cats too!

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying here every single day! Ayu and Agung’s warm and heartfelt hospitality made us feel right at home. The place is tidy and so well-maintained, you can really feel the care they put into it. The whole vibe and service were just amazing, and it’s such a great experience that I couldn’t wait to write this review and recommend it to everyone looking for an awesome stay!

These are minor points but the bathroom door could do with a privacy screen and the windows would also benefit from some privacy to allow us to open the curtains during the day without exposing ourselves. Mattress was a little too hard for me and the pillows were too soft

Very welcoming hosts who made our stay very special. Ayu made us ginger tea when we were feeling unwell. Their booklet offers much interesting and valuable information. The room was huge, with enough storage space and even a TV which swivelled between the living area and bedroom! What a treat. The plug points also catered for UK and EU plug points the kitchen sink also provided many different outlets for different washing styles. The room is well thought out and the photos on booking. Com don't do it justice.. Location is quiet considering the proximity to Ubud central- 15 mins walk away. I'd have no reservations about coming back

This place was beyond all expectations. My room was palatial! I had a full kitchen, the bed was so comfy! Huge bathroom. I could live there for weeks. And the best part was it was so close to all the action of Ubud, but felt like an oasis. The hosts, Agung and Ayu were kind and welcoming and made lovely conversation. The breakfasts were delicious. I will definitely be returning!

We loved the kind welcome from the landlords. They were very kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Everything was perfect: the room, the breakfast, the cleanliness of the place, the valuable advice from the landlord on activities and places to visit, the property is magnificent and well located (5/10 mn from the city center). In short, go for it, you won't regret it!

The property is beautiful. Ayu, the hostess and the rest of the staff could not have been more gracious. I arrived after 30+ hours of travel, hungry and tired. She immediately prepared me a beautiful fruit plate to tide me over until I could go out for a meal. It seems like a very traditional Balinese compound where the family lives on site. The guest rooms are beautiful and comfortable.
