We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location and traditional style building are exceptional. The staff, especially Dewa, are most responsive and catered to all of our needs. Dewa organised golf buggy and motorbikes for ease of travel around the Island. Dewa organised in house massages for the family and a most fantastic private snorkelling trip for us. On our last day one of our children became unwell and Dewa stayed with us for most of the day, escorting us to the hospital and helping us navigate the medical system and language barrier. Dewa is the ultimate professional and a true gentleman. We are so very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful Villa, location second to none, with the best staff on the Island. Many many thanks to the Kainalu Beach House Villa team. I have stayed at several locations in Lembongan and Kainalu is by far the best of them all, my family will most definitely return . Michelle

AustraliaA couple of the nights it felt a little hot in the bedrooms without air conditioning.
The location and view was amazing. The house felt very spacious. The pool was very clean and well maintained. The house and rooms were very well cleaned everyday. The staff were all so kind and went above and beyond to make our time in Nusa Lembongan very special.

AustraliaLovely spot on the beach and good location. Although, the pool was green and unable to swim , the two rooms upstairs have no aircon. Any longer than our 2 nights stay without aircon would have been too uncomfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful.
