We liked the location and liked that it was a little bit of a walk from the main street of Ubud, but just be aware that some taxi drivers said that road is one of the hardest to get to in Ubud, but they still found us no problem! Plus, it’s walking distance to the money forest, which is fun!

We loved our stay here! The reviews seemed too good to be true so we had to see for ourselves, and it really lived up to the expectations. The room was very clean, the bed was cozy, the AC worked great, and the shower was awesome. The breakfast was delicious and the sweet host couple really showed attention to detail. They noted what fruits we didn’t eat for breakfast the first morning and then replaced it with different fruit the next morning. It was small, but appreciated and noted. The property was also very peaceful and quiet and located close to a small convince store that was open late and a laundromat right next door!

Nothing to dislike!

Kyumari has everything I need, and more! It's cozy, quiet and very clean... and my standards are high ;) Sheets and towels are fresh, breakfast is good with lots of fruits (you may enjoy it on the balcony, or not; it will depend if the monkeys are around that morning! But if they are, you'll be set up in your room to watch them play or have a snack from the best seat through your glass door), wifi is strong and steady, AC is powerful, shower is great, loved the bigger fridge... I mean, all is good! You can walk to many restaurants (indonesian and international food) in less than 5 minutes, the location really is perfect to be near some action, but far enough from the road noise. I need to mention how lovely the hosts are; they were both always all smiles, accommodating and very responsive while never being intrusive. A very calm energy radiates from them, which makes you feel welcome and at ease. I booked a second stay! :)

In 4 months of travelling, this is one of our top stays! It was so clean and spacious. The attention to detail was impressive from the comfy bed, nice linen, 2 drying racks, hooks and the best pillows. It was easy to rent a scooter through them. Having breakfast overlooking the garden was a great way to start the day. It was a great location, easy walk to most places in Ubud but so quiet and peaceful! The highlight was the sweetest couple running the homestay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kyumari! Everything was fantastic - the team that look after you, the yummy breakfast options, the ease and comfort, off course the spacious comfortable room, shower and facilities and the peaceful garden. The rooms are very clean (cleaned daily), the shower is soooo good! The hosts are wonderful people - very kind, flexible and always happy to help. The location is perfect - a peaceful spot away from the noise of cars/scooters in central Ubud. If you take a left, and walk 7 minutes you are at Monkey Forest. If you turn right, and walk approx 15 minutes you are in the center of Ubud for the palace gardens etc. There are also some very nice luxury spa's at 2-3 minute walking distance. If you are interested in the Yoga Barn, it's a 10-15 minute walk, and 1-3 minutes on a scooter. A big thank you to the Kyumari team - I cannot recommend them enough, and look forward to staying again!

Nothing to dislike.

Spacious and modern room with ensuite bathroom, very close to the Monkey Forest (10 minute walk) it is kept very clean. There is a small balcony overlooking the garden where you can have a delicious breakfast (if the monkeys are not around) of tropical fruits prepared beautifully and eggs done anyway, coffee or tea. If the monkeys are around the hosts will set it up inside for you. The hosts are actually the best you will find anywhere. Kind and friendly but unobtrusive they represent the best of the Balinese nature.

The location was slightly out of the way in terms of walking distance but not too bad. It is worth it because the location is close enough to explore all the main attractions and hidden away enough to have a good night sleep (away from loud music). Walking only difficult during very hot weather.

Spacious room and bathroom. The price makes the space extremely good value for money. Convenience store is close by as well. The hosts were very nice.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The attention we received was exceptional; they were always ready to help us with a smile. The room was a peaceful haven, consistently clean and tidy, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was prompt and delicious, the perfect start to our days. They assisted us with everything we needed, from recommendations on where to do laundry to helping us contact Ega, a charming driver who made our excursions even more special. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, and the spacious shower was a luxury after a day of adventures. One touching detail was how they were attentive to our neighbor who fell ill. Her concern and dedication were truly heartwarming. This accommodation definitely exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making our stay such a warm and memorable experience. Set in a very peaceful location off Bisma Rd, Kyunari was ideal for us to explore Ubud. Bisma, in our opinion is the best location with incredible restaurants, spas and shops. Local convernience stores in abundance too. Not too busy but plenty of life and just a 10 min walk from Ubud centre and Temples. Ayu was the kindest, most hospitable host. She was really friendly, smiley and was happy to accommodate my breakfast in a box to take away too! Thank you for accommodating my intermittent fasting! The room was spotlessly clean with fresh towels fail and water. We highly recommend Kyunari… only regret was we didn’t stay more nights before heading to the coast! Thank you 🙏🥰

Between the entrance and the rooms there are some tiles with too much space so it is very difficult to walk with suitcase with wheels. It would be very good if they could arrange this.

When we arrived, the air conditioning in our room was dripping and we had to ask for it to be fixed, even though the owners already knew about it. In addition, you could only pay for the accommodation in cash or you would have had to pay a 20% charge for paying by card. Unfortunately we had to have breakfast in the room because of the monkeys. You just have to be aware of the proximity to the monkey forest. You also need a scooter because of the location.

The breakfast was delicious and sufficient. The accommodation was also very clean and very quiet. The scooter rental could also be arranged through the accommodation and the owners could be contacted at any time via WhatsApp.
