Cleanest place we stayed in Indonesia. Spotless. Bathroom was really nice. Small family-run hotel and the family live on-site. It is located right in the middle of Ubud less than 2 min walk from Ubud Palace. Beautiful setting in a temple-style complex.

Property is clean. The owner is very kind and accommodating. And the location is at the center, so it’s very convenient when you want to grab some food or anything.

Wonderful. Place was very clean, great shower (rainfall shower head), perfect location. We had the balcony view, not much to see but still lovely to sit out in our own private space for a morning coffee. The location couldn't be better, 30 seconds walk and youre in the centre. Dont worry if you have a car, the staff lady helped us find parking nearby. She is great and very helpful, an amazing woman. No insects, very very clean. A/C very good. Spacious. Mattress was firm but comfortable. Next time we're visiting Ubud we will definitely book this place again. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to stay in Ubud.

Friendly owner and family members. Accommodation was walking distance to Ubud city centre, and generally the area feels safe as it was beside F&B establishments. Many convenience stores in the area to get drinking water etc.

The alley was a little dark in the night, so we had to use a torchlight while heading back. There is a slope on the way out to the main road, which can be steep for bulky luggages.

I like the vibes and energy during stay, it’s so warm like family.

Lovely homestay, the hostess Martina was very friendly and helpful. Always asked if I needed anything. Excellent location, only a few minutes walk to the Ubud Art Market and restaurants/shops. The room was incredibly clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. While I was staying, the family had a birthday party for their son. Sounded like they had a great time, nice to see a family event!

The noise of roosters and scooters might bother some people, but this is not abnormal for urban Bali and did not affect my stay.

We couldn’t have wished for a more lovely stay at Pondok Serayu. Right from booking to when we arrived, Martina was the perfect host. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, smelt fresh and had lovely quality bedding & towels. The location is perfect for visiting the hustle & bustle of Ubud with some really great restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. In fact, we didn’t bother with a scooter, we walked everywhere and it was only 25mins or so (short legs!) to the Monkey Forest. I can’t thank Martina enough for her wonderful hospitality and I promise, we’ll be back next time we’re in Ubud 😍

Located in the center of Ubud but tucked away in a quiet spot. Very nice accommodations, new and well-designed and well-constructed. Owner is very pleasant. Just an excellent place to stay.

So near to main stretch but once you get in it's own quiet enclave. Guesthouse landlady Martina is welcoming and service oriented. Do note the last 50-100m or so has no car access.

Extra clean, big comfortable bed, big room and all these right in the centre! The staff very friendly. Perfect location for Ubud. I highly recommend it.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well maintained.

The dogs barked at night. There wasn’t a common area.

The location is a bit hard to get to, specially if you have luggage. And the dogs outside barking every time you go in and out of the property, letting all the other guests know your moves was not good.

We had an excellent stay at this guest house. Ms Martina was quite welcoming and made us feel comfortable. The room was neat and clean with a big balcony..There were tea coffee facility, towels and toiletries. The wifi was good. Overall it was a lovely experience and it is highly recommended.
