There were no towels for one guest in one of the bedrooms. However, this was not a major issue.

The good space in the appartment worked very well as one of our company has mobility issues and uses a walker.

On the first morning, we were awoken by the doorbell. When I got to the door, the owner was entering the apartment with "supplies." I was in my nightdress when I opened the door, and our three young children were still asleep. I asked him to wait while I got dressed, and he held the door open. When I came back to the door, he walked into the kitchen and proceeded to fill a coffee can with coffee pods and placed toilet rolls in a cupboard in the hallway. While the encounter was brief, it was utterly inappropriate to enter the apartment, especially if the owner knew there were children present. We had been at a concert the previous night and had gotten take-away for our dinner, and two of the plates were still on the table with the rest in the sink. I received a text message moments later asking if I could keep the apartment tidy. We had been in the apartment for a total of 2 hours before going to bed after the concert. We cleaned the apartment before leaving, as we always do when away, tidied and placed all the towels in the washing machine and then dryer. According to EU law, if you rent an apartment, even for a short let, the landlord has no right to enter the apartment while you are renting, and it should be treated as your home while you are there. We are seasoned travellers, and I can safely say this has never happened before. I will definitely not rent from this person again after this completely inappropriate behaviour especially when children are sleeping in the apartment. The check out time was 11am, our bags were packed and we were taking them down the stairs to out car from around 10.30am, the cleaner arrived at 10.50 am and stood at the door while we brought our bags down stairs, again, this made us very uncomfortable. Although this in itself is not anything to complain about, the girl was doing her job, but it just added to the sense of discomfort after what happened the first morning. our sense of privacy was definitely breached. .

The apartment was very spacious. We travel a lot in Ireland, and we stay in different locations about once a month for either work or family occasions. This apartment was very nice, the grounds were lovely, and the apartment itself was well-proportioned with everything you would need for a short stay. The location is excellent, a little outside town so you are not bothered by noise but still close to all the amenities Killarney has to offer.

If I had one recommendation, it would be around the tone of some of the communication. While I appreciate clear instructions, a couple of the messages felt a little cautionary / passive - aggressive, for example reminding to adjust the booking “to save time and money” or warning that losing the keys would be “a real headache.” For a guest who has already confirmed details and treats the property respectfully, this tone can come across as slightly condescending — almost as if anticipating poor behaviour — rather than simply setting expectations. Perhaps it is led by previous poor experiences with guests, however, the tone should definitely not be used as a blanked approach for all, especially when first message after the booking was made questioned the amount of guests immediately.

The apartment was excellent — very clean, comfortable, and in a superb central location, right in the heart of everything. Check-in was smooth and the instructions were clear, which made the stay easy and enjoyable.

Great accommodation. We had six in our group and were perfectly comfortable. Kitchen welll equipped, we made breakfast and dinner easily. Two bathrooms were great for large group Convenient to have washer (but dry cycle took 3.5 hrs it's combo machine). Host very responsive. Had issue with no hot water and host fixed within minutes Building and apartment were wheelchair accessible which was great due to an unexpected injury on our trip Plenty of parking Toiletries, laundry detergent, etc provided was a nice feature

A bit outside the city, but it was a good walk after the dinner

Very spacious flat, 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, storage room for washing mashines and additional fridge, and locked room for water facilities. All convenient, clean. Tablets for clothes and dishes washing mashines, shampoos, soaps etc. Smooth check-in with keys in the locker. Free parking next to the house. Several electricity adapters we could use for charging our phones, tabletes etc. Silent, cosy. Recommend!

Very spacious apartment that had everything we needed for our stay; a home away from home. Anthony’s communication was excellent and check-in is very efficient. The bed configuration in the apartment is excellent - it provides so many options for visitors with small to larger groups. We found it a very quiet area but within an easy walking distance to the centre. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Thanks Anthony!

From the moment we walked in, the apartment was a very spacious, warm, clean and homely property which exceeded our expectations. Close to facilities and with everything we needed. Anthony made access very easy and accommodated our later arrival. The views across the park were a beautiful winter wonderland surprise when we woke.

We are both regular visitors to Killarney and have stayed in numerous hotels for our visits. This time our break away was longer, so we were very lucky to have found Anthony’s apartment on booking.com, as all the other apartments were all booked out. The comfort, facilities and location were perfect for us both. Many thanks to Anthony’s house keeper who had the apartment so clean and organised.
