The full size bed is very firm and hard. I would definitely suggest a foam mattress topper or something. I recommend the hosts make a one sheet information guide for the apartment. The wifi code and directions to the water heater would be helpful to all have in one spot.

The location can't be beat. It is less than 10 minute walk into downtown Killarney and only about a 5 minute drive to Ross Castle (a must see). Additionally, Killarney National park, Muckross House, Torc Waterfall, and a variety of other sights are within a 20-30 minute drive. We used Killarney as a home base to the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. This apartment was surprisingly spacious. The two bedrooms were a good size and the bathroom was huge! The living, dining, and kitchen space all open to each other which made it easy to watch my 3 year old play. We loved being able to walk to dinner each night. The apartment had enough in the kitchen for me to make simple meals for our family of 3. It was also walking distance to the Killarney Playground, which was fantastic!

We stayed in this property during the winter season with our daughter, who is under 2 years old. The bedroom was cold and we couldn't get the bedroom heating to work. The problem was that the two bedroom heaters were code protected, and both heaters, respectively, have been set to only come only few times during the day. However, the same heating system in the living room/kitchen were not code protected and worked fine. The vendor had left one (1) classic rubber hot water bottle in each bedroom to fill up with hot water in order to keep warm. I had no choice but to browse Amazon in my attempt to try and buy a small portable heater. I reported the issue to Booking.com and Sykes Cottages, and the vendor's son came the following day to reprogram the heating settings without further issues for the remainder of our stay. 2. This is probably a minor issue, and I believe this may have been highlighted already by a previous reviewer. I will reiterate it again. I loved the bathroom. However, the toilet can not be flushed until both the toilet seat and cover have been put down. So you are lifting and closing the toilet seat with the cover just to flush it. Hygiene issues there. I will recommend this property for a short-term stay. But, i strongly recommend that the code is removed from the bedroom heaters or that the code is shared with customers.

The property is a first-floor flat with a balcony. Two good-sized rooms, and a kitchen diner. The property is a short distance away from local shops and amenities, including rail. There were enough toiletries and everything we needed in the kitchen. Overall, we had a good stay.

I didn't understand how to connect to WiFi.

Comfortable accommodation 5 minutes from the city center. Good transport interchange. Each car has its own place. A very beautiful city with wonderful residents! Lake, mountains, waterfall, castles - everything is quite close - 7..10 minutes by car. Well-equipped kitchen. comfortable living room with a fireplace.

No WiFi connection instructions included in check in information. Unclear what to do with our trash since there was no bin complex's trash area.

Looks like the apartment is being updated over a period. Kitchen was good but heating system & flooring are old & could do with updating. Toaster wasn’t working. Toilet flush also needs attention as handle is not working properly.

Self catering - facilites for doing our own cooking were good with plenty of hot water. Living room & beds were clean & comfortable. Plenty of towels provided which was nice.

Fantastic location as centre of town was minutes away. Apartment very clean and beds very comfy. Also has a balcony which would be great in the warmer months. Basically a home from home.

Comforter smelled and the unit had mildew odor. no one ever replied to any messages I sent them via booking.com. Could of find their number on WhatsApp. When I called I got a message about how busy they are. Still to this day no one messaged me. Bad instructions to locate. Coulld never get it warm so had to do the coal fireplace. So many little things just aggravated me
