Everything! First of all, best hosts and best breakfast in all of Ireland as far as I’m concerned, and I’ve been over many times. The house is conveniently located and immaculately clean. Very quiet neighborhood yet close to anything you need. Great departure point for the cliffs or Connemara. Anne was the consummate hostess, o cannot recommend this place highly enough!

My brother and I needed a stop on the way to Mayo. This lovely B&B exceeded all our expectations! The beds are simply wonderful. Top quality bedding and sheets. Our welcome was lovely. A pot of tea to settle in. The host has done a beautiful job of creating the most comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Our breakfast was perfect and set us up for the day. The location is beautiful and on the coast. Easy parking on property.

Everything was lovely.

The place is lovely, facing the water. The room and bed were very comfy, with a big bathroom. Everything looked new and very clean and well maintained. Anna was a wonderful host, and the breakfasts were wonderful. She was also helpful with advice on activities, including arranging a taxi to take us into town to get the Aran Islands ferry.

Wonderful host, great location in Salthill area of Galway, quiet and comfortable. The BnB is immaculate, and breakfast was delicious! Beautiful views of the beach.

Unfortunately, although we had to pre order breakfast our order was not exactly what we ordered, which was disappointing. There was no offer to rectify it, so we made a joke out of it. It didn't ruin our stay.

Excellent location for Galway. Great promenade to walk along. Lovely welcome and very friendly host. Bed was super comfy and we had a sea view room. Bathroom was a good size. Ample parking. good Wifi. There was plenty of food at breakfast.

During our two-week trip to Ireland, we stayed at five B&Bs, and Anna’s Home is absolutely the best. This beautiful beachfront B&B is cozy, spotless, and full of character. Anna lives on the first floor and welcomes guests with genuine warmth, making you feel right at home. Every morning, she prepared the most delicious breakfasts, and the irresistible aroma of freshly baked treats filled the house, making waking up an absolute delight. Every detail-from the charming decorations, comfort bedding, a pair of soft bathrobes, to the most delightful shower head offering optimal pressure and comfort-reflected Anna’s care and attention. Our stay here was truly unforgettable. For anyone seeking an authentic, heartwarming Irish B&B experience, this is the place!

Our stay at Claremount House B&B in Salthill was absolutely delightful and one of the most memorable parts of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Anna made us feel so welcome. She has such a warm and kind personality, and she really creates a homely and comfortable atmosphere in the B&B. Every detail of our stay showed the amount of care she puts into making sure her guests feel at ease. One of the highlights was the breakfast. Each evening, Anna provided menus so that we could pre-select what we wanted the next morning. This made the mornings relaxed and stress-free, and everything she served was delicious. Her homemade brown bread and scones were especially wonderful—freshly baked and full of flavor. It was clear that she took pride in serving quality food made with love. Another thoughtful touch was how Anna made the beds every day. After long days of traveling and sightseeing, it was such a simple but lovely feeling to come back to a room that was tidy and welcoming, with a freshly made bed waiting for us. She didn’t just take care of the rooms—she also made sure to check in with all the guests, chatting with everyone and treating them like family. Her sweetness and attentiveness created a warm and friendly environment in the whole house. The location of the B&B was also fantastic. It’s very close to downtown Salthill, which is a charming area full of things to see and do. We enjoyed exploring the local shops, restaurants, and pubs nearby. On top of that, the ocean is just a short walk away, which added to the charm of the stay—being able to stroll by the sea in such a beautiful setting was wonderful. Overall, Claremount House B&B is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience of true Irish hospitality. Anna makes you feel cared for in every way, and the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and great location made it the perfect choice for our time in Galway.

Anna was a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious, homemade, and thoughtfully served. The place smelled like fresh baked bread, it was awesome. This location is perfect for beach going, or if you're going to take a day trip into Connemara. There's a restaurant area along the beach you could walk to in about 20 minutes, but if you want to go to the Latin Quarter you would want to take a bus or cab. Staying here is totally worth the travel distance to get to downtown. The host is personable and pleasant while at the same time giving you plenty of privacy.

Anna was a delightful host. The breakfast provided was fantastic, with home baked and cooked dishes personalized to your preference. The home looked and smelled (baked goods aroma) lovely. It was cozy and comfy with pleasant water views. A+ in every regard!!

From the moment we arrived at Claremount House, we felt genuinely welcomed. Anna greeted us with a warm smile and , and that set the tone for the whole stay. Our room was spotless, bright, and incredibly comfortable — the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the view over Galway Bay was simply stunning. Breakfast was a highlight. The cooking is outstanding, with perfectly cooked eggs, fresh bread, and delicious homemade touches that make you feel truly cared for. We also appreciated the personal recommendations for local restaurants and scenic walks, which turned out to be some of our favourite experiences in Galway. The location is fantastic — right on the Salthill promenade for lovely seaside strolls, and only a short walk or bus ride into the city centre. Free parking and excellent Wi-Fi were a bonus. Claremount House isn’t just a place to stay; it’s the kind of warm, welcoming home-away-from-home that makes you wish you could extend your holiday.
