The B&B is part of the Fairview Hotel, but up the street a bit, so don't be fooled by all the pictures you see on the website. The Copper Kettle is much more humble. To have breakfast, you need to go down the street to the actual hotel. The jacuzzi, though we enjoyed it, had a few issues (hard to turn on and the metal pieces around the jets kept falling off...perhaps those issues will get fixed).

Upon arriving, we were offered an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi, which we took advantage of. The room was lovely, an easy quick walk to shopping and restaurants. Parking was inexpensive and easy in the the lot almost directly across the street. Breakfast was great with a selection that would suit everyone. If you are a hiker, you need to try the Gap of Dunloe. It takes about 2 hours, and the views are stunning! It's about 10 minutes from the downtown. Be sure to visit Ross Castle and the Muckross Estate and grounds.

The room was cramped and hard to maneuver with luggage so if we had planned to spend alot of time in our room it would have been more of a negative. The bathroom only works for a smaller size person so agin we did ok but I felt like I barely had room.

The location was excellent…close to everything yet quiet. The breakfast was delicious, the staff outstanding and the atmosphere relaxing…a great way to start the day.

The man in the hotel for check-in was extremely rude. He was sharp, blunt, unfriendly and unpleasant. I also observed him interact with other guests to whom he was horrible. 4pm check in is also very late.

The apartment was very big. I was very pleasantly suprised that it was so big and nice. Who would have thought that you would get a whole ground floor in a B+B. Big kitchen/dining room, seperate lounge and bedroom, also laundry outside. I booked at the last minute because of being cancelled from another accomadation. It was school holidays and a bank holiday weekend, so l took whatever l could get at last minute. It came with breakfast at the hotel 100m from accomadation. Breakfast was excellent and people very nice. Very close to town centre.

No obvious temperature regulator (thermostat) nor AC. Bed linens too warm for summer. Woke often thru the night sweating! Open windows helped along with sleeping only under the light quilt draped over the end of the bed. Also, inadequate noise insulation. Could hear neighbor coughing & using the toilet including at night to awaken us!

Convenient location . Comfy beds. Nice bathroom & decorating. Excellent breakfast.

Parking and breakfast were each a short distance away from our accommodation, however this did not pose such a problem as first thought it might… breakfast was excellent at the Fairview Hotel, and the only real inconvenience with parking was having to walk down after 6:30 pm (or before 8:30 am) to purchase the €3 all-day parking pass.

Very spacious and comfortable, apartment is on ground floor, decorated in a way that ‘feels like home’, location was perfect for walking in a wonderful part of town, and close for easy driving to other nearby attractions. The late night receptionist at Fairview Hotel was especially friendly and very helpful at checking us in nicely!

It’s a B&B but our rate didn’t include the breakfast. It was quite noisy, you could hear the other guests in their rooms, and each morning around 7.30am we were woken by other guests due to this with them being up and out early.

Great location in Killarney. Was walking distance to the main town. Room was a good size and comfortable.

We could occasionally hear guests in other rooms and in the hall. They weren’t being loud, the building didn’t have great soundproofing.
