We were quite happy with our choice.

Our friend's room/suite was great. Ours was nice; bathroom/shower is tiny, but bed comfortable. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super.

Lovely room with a view of the river. Bed and pillows were very nice, good sleep! Clean! Lovely staff, super convenient location just a few blocks from the medieval city and all the pubs, etc.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, spacious, and even had a lovely bathtub that we really enjoyed. The breakfast was unbeatable — fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

We are big people so a bigger bed suits us better. We are used to a super king - not a criticism as perfectly comfortable but for us bigger would be better.

It was all perfectly fine - the biscuits and tea selection lovely and superb breakfast

We loved this B&B. The location is just outside of the hustle of bustle yet close enough that you could walk to everything very easily. The building had so much charm in the staff were beyond friendly. Breakfast was exceptional and the room was sparkling clean. Definitely on the pricey side, but worth it.

Parking is hard, lots of noise from the downstairs tearoom since it is very busy, noise from outside groups walking on the riverwalk.

We needed a fan and some ice, and there were a couple of food items that didn't quite work for us (ilke the pancakes, which were not what we as Americans were used to). But we loved the Irish breakfast platter and the brioche french toast was to die for.

The guesthouse exceeded my expectations. It's an adorable place in a great location. The staff were all personable and helpful. Breakfast was excellent--and included. There's a lovely courtyard guests can use at any time, which was very welcome. It meant we could be outside to enjoy a drink or whatever. The room was a bit hot--they should invest in some fans since the world is only getting hotter. We didn't see the other guestrooms, but ours (Salmon Weir) was great--big with a large private bathroom. It was clear that at least one room didn't have an adjoining bathroom, so book carefully. We were very, very pleased to stay here for three nights. Great start to our trip.

Hard to say! It's hard to say because the staff is already very responsive to special requests, like, "May I have a smaller portion size for my breakfast?" Be aware, the breakfast is heavenly though very generous and filling! That may work great for you, but if you'd like a little less, they will certainly work with you.

The "like" list is long! All of the small touches mattered: blankets available if you wanted to sit in the courtyard; wonderful biscotti, tea, water, and coffee in your room; knowledgeable and kind staff at the ready with restaurant recommendations. I felt like a welcome guest in someone's home. This special experience is a financial splurge, to be sure. But if you are splurging on a stay in Galway, this is a great choice.

There is nothing bad about this property. We had a long tour day on one of the days we were there. It would be a nice touch if you could pre order something from the tearooms that you could have on your return after a long day as you don’t necessarily want to go out again. This is a minor point as Galway is not short of restaurants and shops!

This property is full of character with a really warm, helpful and professional staff. Location is brilliant. A short walk into the centre of Galway yet it is very quiet at night. The room was lovely. Really comfortable bed with view of the weir and large en suite bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. Breakfast is excellent and one of the best coffees I had whilst on this trip. There is an adjoining tearooms which had we been staying longer we would have tried out.

I was in the Princess room, which has a bathroom located down two small flights of stairs. This wasn't too much of a problem as I was only there for 1 night, but would imagine it could become an issue if there for longer. I'm not really convinced that the room is particularly good value for money.

Convenient central location. Nicely furnished, very comfortable room. Good breakfast.
