Water pressure for shower was on the lighter side, but sufficed for a quick shower!

Spacious, tidy, clean. Had everything we needed and more. Bed was firm, pillows were adaptable for high/low.

Not a dislike exactly, just a tip; if you're not used to Irish roads (we're from the USA) then try to be in before dark because the roads felt narrow to us and were tricky to navigate.

High Tree House was perfect for us. We like to do our own thing and move at our own pace. Carol's style of hospitality took care of all of our needs and let us be flexible with our days.

Beautifully decorated room. Appreciated the little extras supplied. Very comfortable bed! Lovely "fireplace" looking heater that worked well for a cool evening. The host really went out of her way to be helpful. The couple were pleasant, engaging and informative in conversation. The kitchen supplies were helpful for making our own breakfast. Very enjoyable stay!

What a lovely stay we had! The house is beautiful and located in a peaceful area; our room was nice and clean, spacious and well equipped with everything one may need. Carol, the owner, is so friendly and really made us feel at home; her full irish breakfast is a must try! A true gem, absolutely recommended

Bathroom was a little cramped and cold, and room was a little cool for my friend travelling with me. The weather had changed and it was wet and cold out. So would have been good to know how to warm up the room in case.

It was clean, comfortable, and the host was friendly, helpful and breakfast although simple was enough. Host was lovely she explained everything and got us some milk to make tea/coffee. Room has everything you need for an overnight stay. Microwave, kettle, tea, coffee.

There are no shops or places to eat nearby if you arrive late. The nearest town is a 15 minute drive. There is a local pub but no food is served.

Quiet and beautifully decorated. So homey and cosy. The bedroom and kitchenette were spacious with every little amenity thought of. Carol, the host, was gracious and friendly.

It is a bit out of the way, so it was necessary to rent a car. It was necessary to have GPS because the tiny roads all look the same. You need to be prepared to drive. After being in crowded London and Paris it was a perfect way to end our European trip.

I really loved the visit. The house and the area were beautiful. The owners were available but not intrusive. They were so kind and helpful. The room was extremely nice, comfortable, and very clean. It has a fridge, micrwave, access to cable. Highly recommend staying there if you want to be out of the way of the Cork. Close to Blarney, which is absolutely beautiful. Go,go,go if you can. You will not be disappointed. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ensuite was perfectly adequate for us although a little on the small side - I believe the upstairs room has a larger bathroom, so a better option if you need more space.

Carol is a lovely host who gave us a very warm welcome. Very clean and nicely decorated room and a comfortable bed. Perfect location for our visit to Blarney castle, but 15 minutes drive to nearest shops, restaurants etc so car essential. Large TV in our room and fridge, microwave and kettle in our room was great.

The directions need updating as our GPS got us lost.

What a Gem! This was just about the best B&B we have ever stayed in. It's in a house occupied by the owners in a little town with a great pub around 30 minutes from Cork. Carol and Arthur were the most wonderful people and fantastic and obliging hosts. Carol even did our washing. WOW! It is a bit out of the way, but that makes it even better! You will ned a car to get around. I would highly recommend this to any visitor to County Cork. We absolutely loved everything about it and were sad to leave.

We loved it. You need a car because it's a little far from things. But driving through beautiful country side was worth it.

It was so relaxing, beautiful scenery. Hosts were available, but respectful of our privacy. So kind. We loved it all.

Carol was very nice and welcoming, eventhough I arrived quite late and stayed shorter than initially booked,I would definitely recommend and book again!
