Not staying longer

I loved the Eco Lodge it was beautiful ,clean and welcoming. I wished I could have stayed for longer. It was streets ahead of anywhere in Kenmare and you lived in the countryside at one with nature. It was home from home.

The property was full of character, fits perfectly with the surroundings and the area. Very quiet, there’s access to the river, incredible view from master bedroom. Very close to Kenmare.

Roads to premises are narrow one car roads with passing spots..lanes basically more suited to cycling activities of which there are plenty of routes for mountain biking

Anne was the hostess with the mostest she was so kind and helpful, the eco lodge is bed only but there are plenty of excellent eaterys in Kenmare town, I would highly recommend the eco lodge, a little piece of heaven in a beautiful county

Biggest issue was change in acceptable payment the day before arrival. Although Visa and cash payment were listed on website, Visa was not accepted for early payment. We had cash payment but it became not acceptable the day of arrival. This made for an anxious couple of hours accessing PayPal at a restaurant. We know the host was injured, but there must have been some way to collect cash. Milk was not provided. No breakfast. Location sign could be more noticeable.

Absolutely beautiful country house in Kenmare. Hidden away in the true countryside, the house offers the most comfortable stay. Anne, the owner was a wonderful host and super welcoming and made the stay super enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone thinking of doing the Ring of Kerry.

Taxi’s are non existence in Kenmare !

Stayed here for the Ring of Beara cycle . We were blown away, hidden outside Kenmare on its own little oasis . The house is perfectly designed & decorated, waking up looking out the French doors from the bed at the beautiful Kerry surroundings was incredible . It was an adventure exploring the house and garden .

It was a bit further out of Kenmore than I expected maybe not for a person who is going The ring of Kerry as there is a lot of back tracking if you stay two nights. If you are planning only to do the Barra Peninsula from Anne's this would be okay. No place close to get food.

Everything really lovely home and very comfortable especially the bed. Seeing deer in the front yard early in the morning Anne the host was very accommodating If you just wanted to relax and go walking it would be good.

We spent 2 quiet nights in this beautiful lodge in the middle of nature. Anne was very kind and we enjoyed a pleasant stay while visiting the area.

Located up some fairly narrow roads (?), with grass growing up the middle. Bit of a problem when we met a vehicle traveling the opposite direction. All part of the joy of Rural Ireland I suppose!

We were happy with our stay, nothing bad to sat here

We loved the host who was very kind and we had a few nice chats with her. The little living room downstairs was lovely to sit in and have a morning coffee while looking over the pretty views.

No milk for the coffee. Hostess seemed offish at our check-in. Clear information about keys and access was not provided, it was as if we were expected to simply know what to do.

The property description should be clearer that this is a room only. No access to the outside courtyard as the door was in need of repair. I would not advertise this accommodation as pet friendly, dogs were confined to the room only.

Her home is beautiful but the photographs are misleading about areas that are accessible to guests and pets.
