Second bedroom has to be reached through the first bedroom. Not really a problem when travelling with one family as we did, but may not be comfortable for all groups.

Very kind host, easy in communication. Location with a lot of privacy, nice and quiet. Location has everything you need.

Gate was a bit tight for the car to be driven through.

Located in a quiet place, but near to the scenic sites. Terry was generous to allow us to use his washer and dryer even though it was not listed in the property. Nice to meet the donkeys.

The accommodation looks a bit old-fashioned but doesn't lack anything essential, though it is quite difficult to discover how the shower works. Sometimes a bit noisy from the neighbours' running water through the sewerage (?)

The spacious accommodation is nicely located in the rural outskirts of Killarney, with a nice garden and an excellent view of the surrounding mountains.

The kitchen could have been a little better equipped with utensils etc, and there was some noise transference from upstairs. There’s no curtains in the sun room/ living space, and we felt there was not enough privacy. But these are all minor!

We loved the location. A short drive to Killarney but feels a world away. We loved looking out at the view of the mountains and the donkeys. The cottage suited us very well. It was lovely and warm and the addition of the electric blankets on the beds was a lovely touch.

For us the in law apartment was great, we were 2 adults, 1 child. The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have access to some fans, one for the back room.

The property was on a beautiful spot of land, it was so nice to go into the glass windowed porch or right out to the yard for a morning coffee. Extremely peaceful. Loved the two sweet and friendly donkeys.

Tadgh has been extremely kind and helpful, the house is big and in a great position to reach both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula, quite close to various petrol stations and supermarkets and is immersed in a garden with even two donkeys just steps away from the door. The bathroom is tiny but the shower works perfectly and has very hot water, beds are comfortable and overall it could probably benefit from some improvements, but we were happy.

Minor things: the lighting in the bedroom: better bedside lamps would make a difference. The lack of any blinds or curtains on the conservatory. The fact that the shower/toilet was off the main bedroom, but there isn't a huge amount that can be done about that!

Location and view The donkeys, who were very friendly and expressive. The fact that the taxi drivers couldn't find it without a postcode or equivalent. Watching them getting more and more uppity as the road narrowed and narrowed was funny. They could always try using a map! As in a physical map, it wasn't exactly off the beaten track.

VERY MINOR POINT: utensils drawer needs a tin opener. But this was swiftly provided and we left it there for the next guests. THE FOLLOWING WAS NO PROBLEM FOR US (2 adults staying and we had a great time), but do check the floor plan (as the owners recommend that you do) as the twin-bedded room is accessed through the double-bedded room (in which the shower/toilet is located). This was no problem whatsoever for us 2 adults but just make sure this fits your holiday requirements if 4 people are staying. Just thought it worth flagging this up. And, to be fair, the owners twice advised guests to check the floor plan in earlier communications. I PUT THESE COMMENTS IN THIS BOX AS THERE WAS NO OTHER PLACE FOR THESE OBSERVATIONS.

A great location, quiet and private with views of the mountains, but just a short distance from Killarney and the amazing places to visit on and around the Ring of Kerry. Owners were very helpful and friendly.

The stairs leading down to the front entrance of the cottage are quite steep, we probably wouldn’t have stayed at the cottage had we known there were stairs as someone in our group has mobility issues and had difficulty going up and down, we managed through. I would also recommend having a welcome pack to advise there are extra towels etc, as we didn’t find them until we were packing up to move on. Would definitely stay again though if we return to Ireland

The heating was impossible for us to turn down on two of the radiators in the living area.

Great location being in the middle of the countryside but very close to the town center. Wonderful views of the mountains.

Entrance gate quite tight and steep when icy, but nice location.

Situation close to Killarney. Spacious and clean.

The bathroom is in the inconvenient place as it is in one of the bedrooms. Will be disturbing people who is already asleep. There is just not enough air circulation in the twin bedrooms as the window is high and small. So there is a musty smell that is not good for people with asthma.

The views in the garden is lovely. The conservatory has a lovely view. The rooms are cozy and warm.

I didnt realise it was attached to the main house, but this was not a problem at all as it was very private itself.

I loved the location, the scenery, the remoteness, the property was so quaint inside.

No lake view as described at time of booking. Grout in shower needed attention.
