- The hotel is a few kilometers away from Galway Downtown.

- Very friendly staff. The boss patiently explained the advantages of the accommodation and which restaurants were highlights nearby. - The location. The accommodation was right on the water. Quiet and idyllic. - The breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious and comfortable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I Could Give 6 Stars, I Would! Absolutely Exceptional Stay Our stay at Sea Breeze Lodge in Galway was beyond incredible — truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! From the moment we arrived, Fred and Michelle were the most warm, welcoming, and genuine hosts you could ever hope to meet. Fred even drove us to a local pub on our first night — such a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room was absolute perfection: a heavenly king-sized bed, skylights, a luxurious bathroom with a tub (a rare treat in guest houses), and every thoughtful detail imaginable — from a mini fridge stocked with milk and cream, to fresh fruit, snacks, coffee, and tea, all complimentary. The in-room sound system that connects to your phone was the cherry on top, letting us unwind to our own music in comfort. Everything was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and filled with warmth — from the cozy ambiance to the soft piano music playing through the main floor. Breakfast was out of this world — my gluten-free blueberry pancakes were absolutely divine! Fred even treated us to his own live piano playing one morning, which made the experience extra special. They also offer a laundry service, which was so convenient during our travels. Fred and Michelle are not just amazing hosts — they are the heart and soul of the Sea Breeze Lodge, and we truly left feeling like we’d made lifelong friends. If there were a rating higher than five stars, this place would deserve it. An unforgettable stay in every way — we can’t wait to come back!

Fred the proprietor puts so much TLC into the accommodations - fresh flowers and fresh fruit every day. Breakfasts were wonderful! Loved eating in their lovely sunroom. Needed our laundry done and they handled that 100% for us. Got our clothes back the same day.

We loved everything about the Sea Breeze Lodge

We liked the location. Much quieter than busy Galway. Fred is a very attentive host. This includes a comfortable room, delicious breakfast, lovely amenities in your room AND if you're lucky you may catch him playing the piano.

The stairs, however, that is a very minor point.

The host was amazing, staff went out of their way to support you; the little treats in the rom were on point; the BED - well that was exceptional.

Wonderful place to stay, in the Salthill area of Galway. A very attractive neighbourhood with a lovely (if not long) walk into the centre of Galway. Our room was very comfortable and included a basket of fruit, cheese and biscuits, nuts, drink and water. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice in regard to fruit, yoghurt, pastries and there was a menu for a cooked breakfast. Michelle and Fred were delightful hosts and if you ask him nicely, Fred will play his piano for you!!!!

We loved it all

Beautifully situated looking over the ocean. The owner was exceptionally polite and informative. The room was large with a kitchenette, a sitting area, a king bed and a beautiful bathroom, and very clean. Breakfast was very good with so many options. It was in a very safe area of Galway and the owner made dinner recommendations that did not disappoint. We walked to a nearby Irish Pub and had the best meal of our stay. I highly recommend this place.

Nothing, it was a wonderful stay!

I cannot say enough nice things about the Seabreeze lodge! We stayed here on our honeymoon and Fred had a nice bottle of Champagne and a box of chocolates to celebrate our wedding which I thought was a very thoughtful touch. Fred and his lovely wife thought of every detail and everything was exceptional! All of the staff were as friendly and attentive as Fred and his wife! Breakfast was delicious and filling for a whole day of adventure. There was fresh fruit, snacks, coffee and tea in our room. Everyday when we came back the room was tidy and anything we used was restocked. Fred had booked a bus tour for us to the cliffs of Moher and the shuttle bus picked us up right there at the B&B. If we ever make it back to Galway (which I hope we do) we will definitely stay here again!! I highly recommend!!!
