We enjoyed our two day stay a lot in the Bluebell Rose. From the beginning with a warm welcome , the super cute sleeping room and the well equipped kitchen and even the donkeys and sheeps close by our room made our son every time happy. Its nice to stay a little outside of Portmagee with Just a few meter walk to the entrance of the Kerry Cliffs. The fee for an adult is 5eu and a day pass was included in the stay also a little but enough breakfast. We can highly recommend a stay, don't wait too long to book it. Thanks !

The area is fantastic, place is spotless. Everything that you need is there. Marie is a fantastic lady. I love the animals. Just such a relaxing place 1 minute walk from the Kerry Cliffs

The bathroom a little small but it’s doable, suggest a mat outside its door as the floor gets wet when you have a shower and doesn’t dry straight away. If you need to use the toilet you track wet into the bedroom.

Very clean and well appointed. Loved the location, so quiet, peaceful and within walking distance of the Kerry cliffs. We loved looking out on the Irish field and hills and being greeted by the donkeys, their bray made us laugh every time. Even the sheep came over and said hello (All looking for a treat I suspect). Marie is a gem, made us totally welcome and made sure everything was OK. When we encountered a totally flat tyre she called her cousin Mike (runs the local mechanic business), who organised for it to be collected, repaired and reinstalled whilst we went for a walk to the cliffs. Thank You Marie 🙏🏻 (Mike said she kept calling him 😂…. As I said Marie is a gem).

A really beautiful place to visit. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Loves having the cattle dogs pop past for a pat and the sheep and donkies just over the fence!

Marie was an excellent host as well at her son. The location was incredible, a short walk to the Kerry Cliffs. A 5 minute drive into Portmagee for some of the best seafood we’ve ever had.

The only downside is that the shower is very small.

Fantastic location, right next to the cliff walk, they give you a pass for the cliffs and you can watch the sunset, with almost no one around. We came quite late and found some bread, eggs and milk which the hosts left for us, which was really very nice. The kitchen is spotless and very well equipped.

Absolutely nothing.

Owner met me and made my earlier than expected arrival easy. Loved the close location to the stunning Kerry Cliffs, her roaming donkeys and the gorgeous view out over Portmagee. Sheets crisply line-dried in the clean Kerry air! And food for me to make a filling breakfast. All the kitchen appliances you could need!

That we didn’t stay longer!

Marie was a fantastic host! We knew the apartment was small but we made it work…we did not need the kitchen facilities, but they were terrific for anyone needing to cook. The bathroom was small, but workable, quite an adventure in living overnight in a small space…it was quiet with an occasional sheep baa baa as it is a working farm right next door…we loved the border collies in the morning.

So nice to have a little kitchen area - and nice stash of breakfast supplies. Comfortable beds and easy parking were great too. Walked over to Kerry Cliffs in the evening and appreciated the free entry. Excellent place to stay especially if you have a boat trip in the morning.

Surprised how close to the famous cliff, just 5 minutes walking distance. There was a chocolate factory close to the place and it was an interesting extra visit. The appartment was clean and the owners were very friendly! If you like animals, they welcome you, too.
