The heating system wasn't great .it got very warm at night,I couldn't sleep at night because of the heat. Also no taxis available we rang the ones that cards were provided.uber didn't know the house or location,we ended up been late for 2 dinner reservation we made,luckily the restaurant were understanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend,it beautiful house ,just for future reference maybe let taxis or uber know about your location..

Fittings and furniture were adequate and what a landlord would fit in a rental. However considering the pricing it could have been better. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the bedding wasn't fresh and crisp. The kitchen hon wasn't up to the job especially for larger groups. The TV although not used much had weird sound balance. All of these issues are sortable and would make a good stay a.great stay.

Lovely modern building with a fantastic view of the mountains well laid out with accessible ramp and doors. Only a few minutes from Killarney town and cheap enough in a taxi.

Our stay wasn't long enough!

My family and I absolutely loved staying at this house in the Kerry countryside. The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by green fields, and wonderful views of the mountains and lake in the distance. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There were enough bedrooms for everyone, a nice kitchen, a big bathroom with a powerful shower, and a cosy living room where we could relax in the evenings. The host Ciara was very friendly and helpful. We really felt at home. This was a perfect family getaway, and we would definitely come back.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stable Hill House! The space was more than enough, providing plenty of room to relax and feel at home. The kitchen was a standout feature—modern, well-equipped, and perfect for preparing meals. The furniture throughout the house was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The location itself is incredible, with breathtaking views that create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Every aspect of the house and its surroundings contributed to an unforgettable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Stable Hill House and would happily stay here again. It's the perfect place for anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and a fantastic getaway!

1 bathroom, be nice if you had a fan. Was very warm . Roads to your place driving was crazy dark and one lane roads .

Floors hadn't been cleaned properly which meant we had to wear socks the whole time but it wasn't an issue. Everything else was perfect!

Amazing location in the middle of nowhere, such privacy! Great set up for toddlers too as very minimalistic which was great for our needs.

Nothing, obviously a relatively new house so the outside area is unfinished. Once done, it will massively improve the area around the house.

Perfect location, up a lane so safe and secure for children. A great, comfortable house with loads of space. The kitchen was well equipped and great space for dining and relaxing in the evenings.

It was a fab place out in the countryside up a long drive fab views so quite but not too far from the village and Kilarney town really enjoyed our stay house was very clean and spacious definitely would consider coming back to stay again and our hosts were over and above helpful and friendly

The price was high, though it was the high season and the Killarney region is quite popular. Ireland as a whole had become quite an expensive experience. Communication on forehand is somewhat minimal... But when dropping questions, response was swift and to the point

Excellent location, large new house with a gorgeous view on the mountains and very quiet. It was a bit remote the 1st time but once settled that's actually a positive thing. About 15 mins to Killarney centre during rush hour. Killarney is so crowded, going back here to the house is a blessing of tranquility. Very big living and kitchen, beds for 6, though 1 double bed was a bit small. Large bathroom and excellent shower.

The road is very narrow, No signage on the gate for easy access esp at night..but apart from that we're happy with our stay in Stable Hill House

Little off the beaten track- property is not within walking distance of shop or pub Killarney is approx 10 mins away in car but the setting is very tranquil!

Property was fab- pictures do not do it justice- extremely clean and finished to a high standard! The host had colouring books for the kids and milk and chocolate in the fridge which I thought was a lovely touch. Property is kiddy friendly and safe! Swing and slide set outside which was an added bonus. Really tranquil setting and we had deers and pheasants visit!

When I booked this I thought it was too good to be true, but the place was even better than expected! The house and the location is beautiful. We saw deer, rabbits, foxes and lots of wild birds in our short stay. Lovely touch to have milk and choc bars in the fridge. We stayed to do the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle the following morning and this was in ideal proximity to Killarney for us.

Ciara was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs and request’s especially the surprise birthday cake for my husband. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. A lovely & well presented good sized house. The Location is absolutely brilliant. Everything you need for a short break or holiday is provided for you. We loved our stay here & would recommend it very highly to anyone wanting to have a good base while exploring beautiful Kerry n Killarney
