Very central location. Noisy outside but quieter than I thought inside. The fact that I thought it would be worse than it was ( I took down the barricade behind my door in the morning).

The location was perfect The bathroom was spotless (I was worried about this one but I guess I got lucky) My room (number 11) was big enough for 1 or 2 people (and considering the other reviews this unfortunately isn't common when it comes to rooms for more people)

The only downside with the hostel was that there wasn’t any noise insulation, so you could hear everything from the street (even with the windows closed) and other hostel neighbors coming in and out of their rooms. Also, we weren't provided the Wi-Fi username and password actively up front, so I had to message the host after the first night for it (to find it was at the front desk).

Our actual room was better than what the photos depicted. I could picture this being a great long-term stay location since there is a communal kitchen and laundry area, as well as a personal sink in your bedroom so you don’t always have to use the communal bathroom. It’s also in a great location, only a 10 minute walk to the River Liffey riverfront.

The soundproofing is poor, if other guests close the door a little hard, it will make a loud noise. The shower head in the bathroom is fixed, so your hair will get wet when you take a shower, but i can't borrow a hair dryer ,makes me uncomfortable..☹️

One can hear the other neighbors and guests because the walls are so thin. You can hear people talking though the "walls", probably low quality "wood". Not exactly shown as on pictures. The rooms are rather outdated and barely equipped. The WiFi didn't reach the room because of being 2 floors apart.

The location is fantastic, as it is really in the heart of the city center. The facilities were good and clean. Coffee and tea at disposal. No carpet inside the room, but wooden floor. A sink in the room was also a nice to have. Clean and modernized bathroom. Overall good. Has a fan to cool but also a radiator to heat the room.

Unfortunately, Talbot street is a zombie walk. It's fine if you don't mind but there are groups of men doing "deals" hanging out infront of the door; other poor people staggering around. The Garda are present in nearby O'Connel street at least. The selection of international food places is pretty good.

The guesthouse seems new, the room was fresh and nicely done up. My room was quiet. Overall everything was tippi-toppi clean. In the shared bathroom was a selection of soap & shampoo. A black shower is a bit unusual but it was also clean & with strong water supply. I discovered the huge kitchen with all sorts of equipment only on the 2nd day. Thanks!!

I stayed for one night and the location was convenient. My room was right in front of the bathroom, which made things easier. However, I didn’t feel very secure as the door didn’t lock from the outside. Communication was also difficult since the staff didn’t speak English well, and important information like the Wi-Fi and the building access code wasn’t given to me at check-in. I only received the code by chance when I met the receptionist on my way out, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get back in. Overall, it worked for a short stay, but some improvements in communication and safety would make the experience much better.

The room was small but comfortable for the price. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean and well organized, which I really appreciated.

The single room is very small, and most importantly it has a very small and old window that does not open. Guys please do not use this room for people, it is against hygiene rules, because there is no ventilation!

The service is very good, the staff is friendly and ready to help. The public bathrooms are very clean. The hotel administration provided the opportunity to change the room without a window to a good room.

Wi-Fi wasn't working during my stay, had to use the one for staff downstairs. They are doing bins at midnight (very loudly, no way you'd sleep) and start cleaning at 6 AM (also QUITE loudly), so no way you'll sleep 8 hours there. The staff can't see any problem with this. Despite all these efforts can't say it's too clean there: the stairs rails are sticky, and you better don't look under the bed, there are ages of dust and litter there

A room of a good size, you can use kitchen, the staff is friendly and helpful. Good price for the center of Dublin.

Outside the property large painted letters state ‘bed and breakfast’ but there was no breakfast. The bunk room was very hot and noisy, but it was the last room available. No tea or coffee, no kettle in the room. The women’s shower was so hot I couldn’t bear it. My husband said the make shower was very good.

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We were thankful that they took us at the last minute as our long standing booking was cancelled on the doorstep. It was basic but ok.

No fan available for a very hot room. The only window, a skylight, was covered with a dusty pillowcase. No way to air out the room as the door needed to remain closed for fire purposes. Very narrow and steep stairs to get to the top rooms.

Fantastic location. The bed was comfortable. It was fine for one night, but wouldn't recommend staying longer.
