Nothing to dislike.

The property was very convenient and a short distance to city centre. The staff were most welcoming and Tamo was massively attentive and helpful. The full Irish breakfast was plentiful and delicious and there was a large selection of other breakfast options on the menu. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was without exaggeration probably the most comfortable we’ve experienced.

Proximity to the road was something I was slightly concerned about when we got there but it didn't affect my sleep at all.

Would happily return to Brook Lodge. Easy to get to by car and free private parking was great. Staff all very friendly, rooms clean, combfortable bed, great shower and we were really impressed with the breakfast. I was attending a meeting at the university so it was really nearby and the centre was a short walk.

Although it was not a problem for us, a married couple in our 70's, there was no elevator and we were on the third floor. We managed the stairs with no problem. However those less mobile might find it difficult.

The Brook Lodge has a feel of a very good Bed and Breakfast. We had a great and comfortable room. Breakfast was made to order and was excellent. We had booked an early morning tour and the staff were very accommodating in providing an early breakfast. We liked the location as it was near the university and about a 20 minute walk to the main area of Galway. Although this might not be ideal for some, it was perfect for us as it was in a very quiet area. What impressed us the most was the staff - friendly, efficient and very helpful.

Lovely welcome, the whole house was spotless beds were comfortable and was idealy located just outside of town with a 15 minute walk. Free hot drinks 24 - 7 and the breakfast choice was outstanding. Hats off to the host. Wull be coming back.
