Our family of three stayed two nights at Seaview Tavern and had an amazing experience. The room was cozy, clean, and had a beautiful sea view. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent, tasty food with generous portions. The pub downstairs had a great local feel, and we enjoyed a few pints each evening. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and Mike, the owner, went out of his way to make us feel at home with great stories and local recommendations. A perfect place to stay near Malin Head and we will definitely return!

Couldnt get bathroom heated towel rail on (minor gripe)

On the sea front . Opened windows just to hear the waves and get the fresh sea air. Wonderful to be looking straight at the sea..Fabulous spot to walk/drive around the stunning Malin Head area. Went to 'wee house' and amazing secluded beach walk along shore. Not a soul to be seen (October weekday). Friendly locals as I was literally blown into the bar upon arrival night before. The very generous breakfast even had French toast on top of everything else! A traditional tavern with a rustic feel and character..( Do not expect super modern ). Warm room & comfy. Beautiful beer garden out back. Views in area SPECTACULAR especially from the beaches and coves.Returning soon. In love with this spot.

Evening meal was a little disappointing - wasn't quite what I had expected from the description on the menu.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, with decent leather armchairs - nice to be able to sit in a comfortable chair rather than having to perch on the bed!

This location is the real reason people should be going to Malin Head. Just open your window and look at the view of the ocean and you will understand it can’t be beat. Then meet the owners whose hospitality and kindness are the reason we want to again. The room was large, clean, and met everyone of our needs after traveling the coast all day. We had dinner and breakfast there and were so sad that we were only staying for one night.

Wish I had planned to stay longer than overnight.

Fabulous location overlooking sea, largest ensuite bedroom with 3 windows onto sea and huge comfortable bed, with embroidered doona cover and pillow cases. Good dark curtains. Lots of power points and heaters. Choice of teabags. Great dining room- food and drink for dinner and big breakfasts. Very friendly and efficient staff. Easy parking. I highly recommend. And Seaview Tavern is open all year round.

Not much to complain about. It doesn't oversell itself and we had no complaints.

The location and the view was superb. Would rate it as a 3 star but the rooms had everything you needed. Very comfortable beds, good quality pillows. Really good towels and a great shower. Tea/coffee even herbal teas provided. Very clean. Staff very helpful and freindly. Efficient service. Great selection of food for dinner and breakfast and good quality food. Food and drink reasonably priced. Very quiet at night so a great nights sleep. Good value for money.

You can hear some noise from the pub below, as you would expect when you stay in a tavern, so might not be ideal if you're very sensitive to noise and want an early night.

Location was perfect, right by the sea. Staff were super friendly and helpful, food was exceptional. Views from the room were amazing. Would love to return. Malin head just a short distance away so ideal for a base if you want to visit there.

The location was a little out of the way and there wasn’t really anywhere else to go eat if you didn’t want to eat at the tavern. You can hear the pub from the room, but it wasn’t a big deal.

We really enjoyed staying at the seaview tavern. The room was spacious and comfortable. It’s a lot nicer than it looks in their pictures and much larger. You can indeed see the sea from the window. The location is a bit out of the way, but it was an interesting place to stay. The breakfast was very good and fresh. They served a wide variety of items, everything for a full Irish breakfast plus French toast, really good porridge, and more.

Trying to find where we needed to go to register in was confusing. We were never sure whether we were in the right place to do so.

Our stay in the Tavern was excellent. The room was clean with comfortable beds and nice view. The staff taking us to our room were very welcoming in every way. Food was excellent. we had an evening meal as well as breakfast, both excellent. Breakfast times were set but as we had to go earlier than those times they facilitated us for our needs.
