The hosts were incredibly friendly and gracious, everything they did was with care and attention to detail. They had fantastic tips regarding what to see in the area as well. Breakfast was great (made to order!), the place was spotlessly clean with a calm vibe. The views from the property are stunning.

Without a doubt, by far the best B&B we have staid in Ireland !! . The hospitality from the very supportive and very welcoming hosts Barry & Jens was top notch and unbelievably amazing. The breakfast was to die for and the location with the sea view was simply breathtaking and incredible. I highly recommend this wonderful place !!

Everything about this stay was top shelf. The room, the extra touches such as travel information and local sites. The view is spectacular, and the hosts are very attentive. Just stay here. Don't bother looking elsewhere.

Kindest and most helpful owners. The breakfast was amazing. The help with planning activities and stops around the Ring of Kerry made our stay so great. Views were outstanding.

We loved the warmth and hospitality that Barry and Jens extended to us throughout our stay. Breakfast was first class!! Conversation and tried and true travel tips enhanced our stay. The home extraordinary, the view breathtaking! We recommended Valhalla to all our friends.

We will have only the fondest memories of our stay at Valhalla! Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, our room was very comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding. But it was the atmosphere, and the view from the breakfast room and lounge that will stay in our memories. It was magical. We would love to return and stay longer. Thank you Barry and Jens for a wonderful, wonderful stay. We will miss you!

Barry and Jens were extraordinary hosts in every way — their hospitality and the care in greeting us and showing us the property , the care and attention to every detail in the gorgeous house — curated with art to the level of a museum, and the superb breakfasts with home baked good courtesy of Jens — it was all beyond all expectations— and have travelled on 5 continents. Barry assisted us with helpful maps and recommendations in the area, and Jens artistic eye for details in the house decor and the skill of this cooking won’t be forgotten. They are two of the most attentive and friendly hosts we have encountered in 15 years of travel. M

The hosts of this beautiful B&B were the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed friendly chats with both of them and they provided us with the most beautiful breakfasts of our entire stay in Ireland. Great suggestions were given in what to do in the area. If you get the opportunity to stay here you won’t regret it!

As our stay was during the Olympic games we missed not having a TV for evening viewing. However, everything else was excellent.

A first class B&B. Clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished with excellent support and service from Barry and Jens.

The location was perfect. The accommodation was amazing. It was like stepping inside a 5* hotel. Our hosts greeted us with genuine warmth. Breakfast was of a high standard and presented with great care. If you are looking for a B&B that excels ,then look no further. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Valhalla a few weeks back and I have to say this was one of the best stops along our road trip. Barry and Jens were the most gracious and attentive hosts. Jens welcomed us and showed us around and left us to enjoy our evening. Barry has immense knowledge of the area and show us all the stops to take on the ring of Kerry. Breakfast was amazing. The home is lovely, and the location can’t be beat. You are 10 mins from Kenmare and is on the ring of Kerry if that is a stop for you.

Everything was amazing: the location, the view, the room, the breakfast and beyond all, the lovely hosts!

The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was prepared to please and was personalized to each guest. Jens and Barry were very helpful at all levels (advice as to what road to take, where to visit) and they offered the best gluten-free cake we've ever eaten.

The only quibble was with the in-room teapot and accessories, which was on a very low table.

The view from our room was spectacular. The breakfast was plentiful, healthy, delicious and varied. They accommodated our special needs. The owners helped carry our our luggage upstairs, were available when needed yet not intrusive, and recommended an itinerary for traveling the Ring of Kerry that worked out perfectly.

The Valhalla BnB exceeded all our expectations and is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The cleanliness was perfect, making us feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, making every moment there incredibly enjoyable. Breakfast was superb, with delicious options that started our days off perfectly. Jens and Barry were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants and sightseeing on the Ring of Kerry. Their hospitality made our stay special and we felt well taken care of throughout our visit. We wish we could have stayed longer. This BnB is a gem :-) Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect stay!

We loved the localisation, the stunning view from our room upon the Ring of Kerry but most importantly, Barry and Jens made us feel at home there and gave us great recommendations. They were very caring, kind, and their homemade breakfast was the best I ever tasted in a hotel. We had the best experience in Kerry thanks to Barry and Jens. Thank you again for everything. Looking forward to coming back soon.
