The bathroom and shower itself was lovely, new and very clean and I liked the big shower head. My only complaint was that the water was not very hot.

Excellent location, easy check in and good parking (the door locks are a bit tricky, but if you follow the photos and instructions exactly it's ok). Room was very clean, the bed comfortable. Supermarket a few mins walk away. The shared kitchen area was clean. A nice quiet area of Galway. The room size was good for a solo traveller.

Bed was a little hard for our liking!

Great location with easy parking and access to Galway and Salt Hill on foot. Room was clean and comfortable and shower was nice. Straight forward check in.

The listing indicates laundry is available but it is staff use only. A laundrette with wash and fold service isn’t too far.

We had a small hygiene issue but that was responded to very quickly!

The location was perfect, 5 min walk from the sea and 10 mins from the city. And it was a quiet area itself so really the best of all worlds!

we chose and paid more $ for this place based on it having a washer , dryer and air conditioning. although there is a washer and dryer in the common room it was paddle locked and when we contacted the owner they said it was for staff only, who we never saw. there are multiple reviews and pictures on booking.com that say it is available for use. Our room was very warm . we contacted the owner and she said we didn't have air conditioning even though it was advertised on booking.com, she brought us a fan instead. a re-usable not sealed bottle of water was provided without glasses. after digging around back cupboard in kitchen common found 2 mismatched ones. our room was VERY tiny

The room very clean and easy 10 min walk into town. They had parking on site. bed was comfy. good size bathroom. we felt safe

Room on the ground floor is right at the entrance, facing the street. Highly prone to noise disturbance (which we faced), especially from other guests getting in / out and closing the main door really loud.

The location was excellent for all the bars in both salthill and the city.Tesco was a 2 minute walk which was ideal. Car parking on site an added bonus

Great spot for exploring Galway city! Short walk, maybe 10 mins, to the centre and right beside Salthill. Parking in particular was great to have, with there not being many free alternatives close to the centre. The accommodation was lovely and very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. Check in/out via lockbox and information communicated well in advance. No complaints!

Winnie's lodge is having key boxes, no direct contact with hosts. Rooms are quite ok. Bathroom was clean. House is well equipped but we didn't use it. Location is very good to visit Galway in a calm area. Parking is really practical.

The property was as expected, though the room was quite small. Car parking was onsite. The communal kitchen, living areas was fine and also provided laundry facilities

It seemed like every time any of the residents flushed their toilets or used water there was a boiler? That made noise which woke us up. This seemed to happen quite early in the morning. If you are light sleeper this is a problem.

Great location, and only a short walk to shops and bars. Easy to check in and keys obtained from a lock box outside the property. The room was clean and had an en suite bathroom with shower. Plenty of space to hang clothes in the wardrobes. We loved the little goodie box of crisps and chocolate!

Room was a bit small for 2 adults with several suitcases.

Located over the Galway River in a quiet neighborhood near the West End, about a 10 minute walk to the Latin Quarter and a 15 minute walk to Salthill Beach, which allowed us to discover Galway on foot. Loved the river walks. Our room was not large but very clean and cozy. We liked the shared living/dining/kitchen space.

Great location for walking into Galway or driving to Salthill. Room was small and difficult to navigate with beds and suitcases but the bathroom was fantastic. I never saw staff but communication online was great. Nice stay.

The key locker system for getting the keys was a bit complicated, but it worked in the end.

Winnie’s lodge was in the perfect location for us, close to a supermarket and post office and less than 10 min walk to the Latin Quarter or Salt Hill. The Lodge was very clean and having a good kitchen was great so we could enjoy a “night off” at home.

Perhaps a little expensive for what is a double room with en-suite shower. However it is Galway so its an expensive area.

Location was good between Salthill and the centre of Galway. Also very close to a Tesco which is convenient.

Mattress was very uncomfortable unfortunately, and the floors were dusty. Toiletries were provided but hadn't been topped up for our arrival.

Excellent location - ten minute walk from centre of Galway, but quiet area to sleep and relax. Good kitchen facilities (if required) and plenty of parking.
