A wonderful, kind, generous, friendly, helpful family run this cosy homestay, which is in a fantastic location. As a British reviewer said previously, Prakash and Meena go way beyond the normal of a guest house. Whether it's showing you local sites, visiting the local temples with Prakash, Meena making tea or cooking her wonderful food or generally feeding you, this family simply cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable. Their kindness and generosity will stay with me for a long time. Meena is a fabulous cook, so try the dinners here. Everything she made was delicious. Breakfast is great also and Meena makes great Chai The location is brilliant. Loads of great street food around. There's a place across the street to get your washing done. It's 10 mins to the path up to the fort and around 15/20 mins walk to Hawa Mahal/City Palace. I had the room with the private bathroom and the shower was the best I've had in India for hot water. Very comfy bed too. It was as a lovely room. Prakash ran me to the train station in the morning at 5.30am to catch my train, which was just the most incredibly kind gesture. Can't recommend this Homestay enough but it's all down to the hosts generosity and kindness. Wonderful people. 11/10

Having to leave the place

The rooms was exceptionally clean and fitted to a very high standard with good quality furnishings. The sun terrace is a great place to relax and take tea and breakfast whilst catching up with your hosts Pakash and Seema who truly treat you as part of the Soni family and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is special. Wheter it's Seema's milk teas and home cooking or the attention and help from Prakesh, they rreallygo the extra mile. The location is in the heart of the old town and within walking distance of most key attractions. I especially enjoyed my evening visits to the temples with Prakesh, he's very knowledgeable and proud of his city and the information he provides is invaluable. He even gave up his Sunday afternoon to take me to a famous annual festival. Jaipur is an amazing place, if you are looking for a great value homestay then you won't find anywhere better than this. Outstanding, I highly recommend.

Staying with the Soni family was one of the highlights of my trip. Prakash was such a kind and attentive host — from the first evening he took us out walking through the old streets, letting us taste local food and best places to go to. He was like a friend and guide at the same time. The house itself is beautiful and calm, right inside the Pink City, so you really get to feel the atmosphere of old Jaipur from within — not just as a visitor passing through. The whole family made me feel welcome and cared for, and it truly felt like a homestay, not just a place to sleep. If you want an authentic Jaipur experience, with genuine warmth and help from the host, this is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!

Prakash and is wife (and the all family) are amazing, very hospitality and warm. The food was delicious and plenty, the room was nice with a comfy bed. Prakash helps and advised us on what to do in Jaipur, and also walked with us in the neighborhood, show and explain about the life in India, very interesting.

This is the kind of place you will feel like at home. Prakash and his wife take extremely good care of its guests. My arrival was almost 24h delayed due to flights disruption and there was no problem to check-in at 5am. The place is newly renovated. Floor, walls, bed, ac, even the kettle are brand new. No dirt, mold or uninvited insects. Wi-fi worked great. Breakfast was simple, but the dinner was more than enough. One day I was offered a lunch even it wasn't included in my booking. Location is very good in old part of the city, 10 min walk to City Palace or subway station. Easily reached by foot or by Uber. But the best part is the hospitality from the hosts. Highly recommended.

Cleaned, confortable, new, located on the Jaipur city center. All at a reasonable price. What else? It was nice to chat with the host during breakfasts, to share thoughts, ideas and getting helpfull information concerning Jaipur.

If your looking for an authentic experience with a warm and considerate family, then look no further than My Homestay Jaipur. Brand new rooms with high-quality floor and wall finishes as well as modern and effective AC. Nothing was too much trouble for the host and Meena makes tasty wholesome food with Love.. I would definitely return to this peaceful spot in the middle of Jaipurs bustling pink city.

Very good experience, hospitable and nice family, where the Indian spirit is still preserved. Well renovated and furnished room. First looking on the map the location seems a little remote but in fact it is center and close of the important places to visit.

We had a triple room that had a bathroom outside in the common area, which was a hassle in the middle of the night. The wash basin, toilet, and showers were all in separate compartments, which was also inconvenient. The stairs to the room were narrow and steep.

Soni (owner) and his wife (Meena) were very pleasant. Soni spoke excellent English, he was helpful for Jaipur tour recommendations. Meena made delicious breakfasts as well as dinners (small fee). Free bottles of water everyday. Quiet side street. Strong AC, ceiling fans, and WiFi.
