Cozy cabin and clean

We loved this very sweet little cottage! We didn’t take advantage of the kitchen, but we definitely would have if we’d planned ahead. Everything was incredibly clean. Very comfy beds!

Nothing comes to mind

The cabin was very cozy and well equipped. The view from all the windows was so panoramic, with lush green fields and snow capped mountains. We checked in late and the kitchen stove could not start and we contacted the owner Mr.Siggi. He sent his father Mr. Mikki over with a spare hot plate stove, so that we could cook our meals. We’re really touched by this kind gesture. If tranquility is what you’re looking for with a wonderful view, this is it!

Location is very convenient with a relatively short drive to the whole area of Seljalandsfoss, also an easy drive to cliffs of Dyrhólaey. Depending on your itinerary, also Golden Circle is near. All necessary facilities for a couple of nights.

The only thing we missed was any kind of a coffee maker - moka, french press, anything

Nice and clean small house

What a lovely little cabin! We throughly enjoyed our stay in this small house set amongst wide open fields with a panoramic view for miles. The cabin was very clean, nice and warm with a well stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable, there is a table with three chairs and plenty of space to move around comfortably. We prepared a simple evening meal and had a relaxing evening in this charming little abode. I highly recommend this establishment and would love to stay here again.

Great location from Hella, situated out, was able to see the northern lights from accomodation Comfy bedding!! Basic but all facilities met Easy self check in

This property was great for what I was looking for, I’m a solo traveler who came to Iceland chasing the Northern Lights and this location was perfect! It sits on a hill overlooking the valley which gave great perspective of the sky, hella is about 15 minutes away which is a nice little town that carries groceries, gas, and liquor store. The location is also central to many of the great tourist attractions to the eastern/ central of the island

The heater in the bathroom of my unit wasn’t working at the time of my stay but they have 2 large heaters in the main area so I just left the bathroom door open and had no issues of the bathroom being cold

Location Smooth check-in Accomodating

Good location - secluded enough to see Northern Lights right outside the cabin but close enough to Ring Road to access other sites. Had all the necessities to cook a simple meal. Comforting to know the hosts were just a hundred meters away.

A nightlight would've been useful.

The kitchen could be better equipped (e.g. second sharp knife).

We had a wonderful stay at Beindalsholt. The house was clean, in good condition, and well equipped for everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the house was very warm despite the cold weather. We had a car so it was a good location to move around in the south of Iceland. We stayed for almost a week, and we would definitely come back here again. We highly recommend it.

It was a cosy little cabin, on the hill, overlooking the fields. We did not have opportunity to explore due to the wet and windy weather, however it was peaceful, clean and comfortable.
