The wifi didn't worked in our cottage and the bathroom didn't got warm even when we turned the heating on max

No kettle in the room but we knew that there wasn’t one when we booked so took our own as we like our tea.

Beautiful location, surpassed our expectations. Room was really warm and clean but basic. Good WiFi and clean comfy beds. 10 minute drive from Glacier Lagoon and very easy to find even in the dark. Staff were very friendly and kind.

We had a very bad experience with a lady who was working there - helped to serve breakfast one day and checked us out later on that day (6 September 2025). She was very rude and unpleasant and on purpose stalled the breakfast which we were told to begin at 7am but according to her it was 7:30. We had an activity planned that morning that we almost missed, just because of her and her reluctance to give us a bit of food (which was already prepared) that we paid for. Even though we kindly asked her if we could get at least some bread, she waited for until the last minute until she allowed the food to be brought and treated us in an unkind way. In general, we liked the accommodation but this lady really kept a bitter feeling and not a really nice memory.

We really liked the bungalov, it offered us privacy and it was comfortable. The breakfast was also really nice and wide selection.

The cottage was brand new , very clean and comfortable. Small kitchen with kettle , microwave and fridge. Very quiet and peaceful with great views

Really small rooms, almost no space inside (od course on the trace You sleepe one night incone place) power charging are near the bed but... Near the ceiling so my phone have to hang on power cable.

The diner menu was a it lean for our kids so we went to another place closeby, adding pasta would have made a difference

Siew note to the rating, I never give out a 10 and the 9 was not made because the other room (cabin) was not as good as the room in the large building due to matrasses and a bit smaller. Location is as good as you can be in that area of Iceland. Place was clean, quiet (important!) with friendly staff and a nice breakfast so we would all recommend it without hesitating

If you want to have dinner in their restaurant, you have to make a reservation. This is necessary because of the limited number of tables in order to the number of guests that can stay.

The room was very clean, small but functional. The restaurant serves great dinners (and desserts) and breakfast. The location was ideal for us . (close to diamond beach and the glacier)

The light in bathroom was low. We were a family of 4 and the kids were allocated another bedroom on booking.com and our room had 2 extra bunk beds. It was a cost we could have avoided but the kids were happy to have their own space.

Staff were professional and friendly and took time to address any question.

We were less impressed by the overall appearance of the property. Some areas felt somewhat makeshift or unfinished, while others seemed a bit dated—slightly detracting from the overall experience. With greater attention to detail, the guest experience could be significantly improved.

We would especially like to highlight the reception staff: exceptionally friendly, attentive, and solution-oriented. We felt welcome and well taken care of – a real plus that made the stay all the more pleasant.

The price, but everywhere is expensive in Iceland

Lovely location, with distant views of the icecap, and easily drive to Jotulscarlon Glacier Lagoon. Overall standard of hotel one of the best I stayed in Iceland. Dinner was very good indeed, friendly staff placed me where I had a view of the mountains and icecap.
