The thermostat did not work so when we arrived it was very cold in the room. They told us to use the electric heater in the room, which we did, but work up sweating when the room got up to 27 degrees Celsius. Other than that, everything was great.

Great spacious room. We got two rooms with one adult and one child in each and it was great after staying in several quadruple rooms during our trip. It was a nice change! Also was right by a grocery store and gas station so it was very convenient.

Monika did an excellent job! She is very friendly, helpful and I could feel her hospitality. After the first night there I wanted to extend my stay for another night and she arranged everything in just a few seconds at a fair price. I was very happy she took care of my requests. She leads her team in a very pleasant and friendly way in order to maximize their effectiveness and watching that is fun. 1st night in the hotel room with a huge tv (didn’t use it though) 2nd night in the guesthouse

- room was too hot: heating had been heated to 24 C before we arrived and despite being then set to 21 C only reduced to 23 C by the time we left, even having the bedroom window open. - bed linen was discoloured (dirty) and had someone’s hair in it.

+ the best thing about staying here were the very kind and helpful staff at the Hill hotel (the adjacent hotel where we check in, have breakfast and there is a restaurant). + varied and tasty breakfast. + free parking. + quiet even with window open.

Check-in was done in the hill view hotel and we had to return back to understand the route for the stay as instructions weren't clear (may be my fault) also google's location wasn't accurate to the stay as it left us on the other side of the building.

Location: great location after touring Golden Circle sites. Easy jumping off point for attractions on the south coast. Comfortable room in motel style building. No staff on premises but 24/7 key pickup in the hotel across the street. There is a good restaurant at the hotel across the street also, with breakfast buffet available. Close to Secret Lagoon.

The only negative experience here was that the parking lot was full and we had to park across the street. The hot tubs are small, but were also vacant so can’t really complain.

This was a fantastic stay, though we were upgraded to the property across the street (it seemed the old guesthouse was not really in use?). The room was quite spacious, the bed felt enormous, there was a giant window looking out into a garden area, our own patio, and entrance to the area including a hot tub out the bathroom. There was also actual shelf space above the sink. We were offered complimentary bathrobes. We also ate here and the food was good. The staff was very kind and helpful. Huge radiator for drying wet clothes and a separate one in the bathroom. Peacefully decorated. We were able to spot the northern lights right from the hot tub. The upgrade and thus value plays into my opinion but I loved this stay.
