A lovely, rural guesthouse run by welcoming and friendly Icelandic farming folk who obviously have many talents. The room was very comfortable, the house authentic and quaint, and breakfast was superb. Thank you!

Clean, cozy and a good sized shared kitchen. The breakfast included is nice.

Very local unassuming exterior. Use gps as it’s not marked on the road. Looks like a farm, which it is. Good breakfast, and friendly couple operators. Very good value.

Better signage on the road/entrance.

Location for our 2 night stay was excellent. beds comfortable, bedrooms spacious, cooking facilities adequate. Waking up to chickens and ducks was a favorite for all of us. The separate shower/WC facilities were appreciated. The view was of a glacier and we were able to see the northern lights thru our camera phones. Breakfast was included and excellent choices. Owners were very pleasant and helpful.

Beautiful location! We stayed in the bungalow and it was great size for 4 adults. Breakfast was really nice and the view was spectacular!

Cold water didn’t work in the bathroom sink. We improvised and brushed our teeth in the kitchen which was just fine :)

This place is absolutely charming! The property is magical, with stunning views and farm animals wandering around. The rooms have plenty of space, and ours had its own sink which was very convenient. The BnB also had 2 showers, which meant minimal waiting. Gudrun was a lovely host and offered extensive breakfast options. I hope to go back when I return to Iceland!

The only slight downside would be that soundproofing between rooms is minimal.

We loved this place! Magnus and Gunna were amazing and the space itself was so cozy and lovely.

Generally a little older, it was troublesome to keep the room ventilated. Even at our arrival it was a bit stinky

This was our first stay with a shared bathroom. And, I had some reservations / concerns about the ick factor and awkwardness. But, the way you separated the shower from the commode made sharing them "no problem". I am going to seek out other farm guesthouses, and shun motels for the rest of our trip.

Some tea bags in the kitchen would have been nice. But, really....just having a place outside of our room, like the kitchen, was great. But, Lucy would have liked a cup of tea that evening.

The view of the glacier was unbeatable. I wanted to stay in a rustic place and it was an old farmhouse that has many bedrooms and one bathroom for the floor. We were late in the summer so there was no dinner so we had to rush to Höfn to get something to eat. Which all turned out fine. I wish I could have stayed another night and gotten a better chance to enjoy the location.

The breakfast was fine but nothing to write home about.

Very well maintained. Great location with great scenery.

The sink faucet for cold water was not working it was free. We burnt our hand. When complained while checking out, the owner first accepted and said he would check, and in a minute, he came back saying we must have done something which might have broken it. Why would we do that? Very poor response.

Beautiful place, nice rooms and there is also the possibility of using the kitchen on the ground floor; the view of the glaciers in the distance is majestic and the location in the park allows for beautiful walks in the surrounding area.

The beakfast could be more varied

The breakfast was awesome specially for their home made marmelade. Remind that you are in a farm...cats, sheeps, ducks, are all around... beautiful!

Room too narrow for big baggage
