I absolutely loved my cabin! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the decor was charming and thoughtfully designed. The host was wonderful - so accommodating and friendly. She went out of her way to explain everything and make sure I had a seamless experience. Breakfast was wonderful - fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. The location was also ideal - peaceful and scenic. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming retreat!

The owners were super friendly and welcoming; the lodges were lovely, with amazing views. Breakfast was delicious and even better for being home made.

The location of the quaint modulars was ideal....off the Ring Road and positioned to see the southeast coast and the surrounding mountains. The breakfast was delicious and so impressive, with the number of choices offered and the quality of the food and homemade goods!

Loved our room - very comfortable beds and very nicely decorated. The hosts are wonderful - very accommodating, friendly, explains everything, and put together a plentiful breakfast spread. The homemade skyr was delicious! Would definitely stay here on a future trip to Iceland.

This was a surprising gem - it didn't look like it at first - and we later regretted we couldn't stay a bit longer. Everything I demand in a good hotel room, regardless of price: ROOM: - clean YES - comfortable beds, with ample space on both sides for getting in and out YES - ample floor space for placing luggage YES - hair dryer YES (you have to ask for one as too many tourist steal them!) - at least two comfortable room chairs plus comfortable desk chair YES - a double room designed for TWO people YES ROOM OPTIONAL: - large flat screen TV, with streaming service capabilities (Netflix, etc.) NO - large dressing mirror in main room (in addition to bathroom mirror) NO BATHROOM: - well-designed bathroom with several towel racks YES - plenty of "put space" (countertop space for amenities) YES - towel racks for hanging wet towels YES - good shower YES - good lighting YES - good, fluffy towels YES - wash cloth for face YES - toilet paper roll easily accessible when on the toilet (many hotels have it in odd or inconvenient places) YES - Bathroom fan for venting hot shower air, toilet fumes, and giving some privacy cover when sharing room with another person YES BATHROOM OPTIONAL: - heated towel racks for drying towels and clothes NO DESK: - desk with outlets/plugs centrally located on the desk YES - comfortable desk chair YES OPTIONAL DESK: - adjustable height chair NO ROOM AMENITIES: - coffee maker NO (but good coffee available a short walk to the main dining house) - hot water maker for tea NO (as above) - refrigerator NO

While breakfast was good, they don't really do dinner, so you have to go to Höfn, which is like 50K away.

Totally surprised by this lovely property. Each room had a theme and everything was new. The breakfast spread was extensive and beautifully laid out. Lots of homemade delights - best yougurt in iceland! Appreciated the coffee machine which was available for us use during the evening too. The owner/hostess took great care to explain everything. A bit pricey but well worth it. It was our most memorable accommodation of the 7 we stayed in during our trip.

Breakfast was so delicious with many traditional Icelandic foods. It was so lavish that even one tiny bite to try everything comprised a filling breakfast.

The wifi was a bit tricky, and the host quickly fixed that.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accomodating, the beds the modt comfortable ones of our entire stay on Iceland and the breakfast a phenomenal choice of home made and traditional dishes.
