Excellent location. Only 10min driving to Vik and 10-15 min to a glacier. Very beautiful view. Quiet and clean. Private entrance and fully equipped kitchen were a big plus. Nice bathroom. Very cozy beds with nightstands on each side. Plenty of outlets to charge phone or camera. Next door hotel provided breakfast for extra charge. We liked our stay.

Property immediately outside was somewhat lacking in aesthetic but in a beautiful area.

General location was great. Space as a whole was very comfortable, bed could be a bit more comfortable.

Nothing - we wished we could have stayed longer!

Very comfortable guesthouse. We got to experience a “moderate” storm for the area (ahem… 60 mph gusts) and were snug as can be while listening to the wind roar all night. Heaters are nicely functional, whether you adjust them down or up. The entryway coat rack and bench were ideal for coming and going in wet conditions. Good proximity to Vik. Nice interior layout; we didn’t feel cramped. My husband really liked the map of “Things to do in Vik” that was on the dining table.

The property was conveniently located near Vik, which made it convenient for our sightseeing adventures. The guesthouses were located on a working farm, so it was nice to wake up in the morning and see a few horses and sheep in the nearby fields. The accommodations were quiet, clean and comfortable.

It was extremely humid in the house so a fan would have been nice to make sleeping more comfortable.

This guesthouse was perfect for what we were looking for -- close to Vik and good space for two. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen was great!

There was nothing not to like!

Lovely place overall. Wonderful peace and quiet. The room had very good space and facilities. The owners make a great effort to anticipate your needs and cover them. Vik is a 15 minute drive. So is Reynisfjara beach and Durholay lighthouse.

As a light sleeper, on the first night the fridge was very noisy. I often have to unplug them in hotels and guest houses at night... On the second night, I did not hear it due to hurricane Erin!

Spacious and clean, well equipped. Ideal location to explore the region, good views. Easy to locate and well back off the road #1 to be peaceful.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable, but was tolerable, and the water pressure was less than some of guesthouses we've had this trip

Convenient location right off the Ring Rd, a short distance to Vik and the turns for both Reynisfjara Beach and Dyrhólaey. Snug studios as described, fast wifi, small but efficient kitchenette. Hosts found our son's missing camera and called us immediately, which was very kind of them!

Super cute! Not too far from Vik, with great views and farm animals nearby. The other reviews were right about the heat, this place gets warm and holds heat easily, but we just opened the windows when we accidentally overheated the place and it was fine.

I would ask for two extra pillows on the bed.

Ran out of hot water (my fault i had a long, very hot shower). Bed was a little firm but comfortable enough. We had great neighbours but I have a feeling if they were noisy, you would hear them quite a lot.

Beautifully situated, easy to navigate to and gorgeous farm animals to say hello to. Very warm and comfortable layout. Good places to put bags. Plenty of wall sockets. The dog from the house was so sweet and friendly.

Great location, near Vik and Dyrhólaey, property is surrounded by lush green fields and a farm, room is very comfortable and parking is just right at the front door! We had a wonderful stay here!

The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. One morning, we even saw horses standing on the nearby fields—it was such a beautiful and peaceful sight. The host was friendly and provided help when needed without being intrusive. Overall, a lovely stay in a quiet and scenic location!
