The bed could have been more comfortable.

The most unique place I have ever stayed. Space is very well- utilized. Top floor has exquisite 360 degree views of the countryside. I stayed on the 3rd floor. The unit was clean and had everything I needed, including a refrigerator, tea kettle, coffee, and some kitchen supplies. There are 4 rental units one on top of the other in the tower + the 5th floor at the top, which is the observation deck. You take stairs on the outside of the tower to each level. I liked how unique the place was and enjoyed hanging out on the observation deck watching the sunset. I enjoyed hiking nearby and visiting a dairy farm that had a wonderful farm to table restaurant.

We wanted to stay somewhere different and we found it. Our suite was adorable, perfect for our last night. We couldn’t believe so much could be in such a small area. Bed, kitchenette, table, toilet and a shower. The concept was fantastic. To top it off, a 360 degree observation floor. We also enjoyed being able to control the colored lighting feature. Thank you

Unique stay in the tower & what an amazing view from the top floor…& our room…even though it was quite cloudy during our stay. Comfortable room with everything you might need for simple cooking & eating if you wanted to.

Not a lot of services around, so it is recommended to arrived well prepared!

Klettar is a unique place in the middle of the icelandic landscape! We recommend asking for the availability of a high story room, to be able to have a wider sight. The common observatory at the top is an amazing place to spend some time during the day. Comfy room, nice bathroom, tiny kitchen and free parking! Communication with the staff was easy and great, they let us check in a bit earlier, and responded to our requests!

I would give 10/10 but can't give more than 8 because the amount of flies inside the room despite closing all windows is unbearable. With all closed windows the room was also extremely hot with no way to cool it down.

It's a good location and the rooms are very nice. Staying in a tower is very very cool and top deck is amazing to chillout.

Noise of other guests heard easily including up and down the metal stairs. Very tight inside for 2 people. Tight shower set up in bathroom makes it hard to keep bathroom floor without water. No extra towels to clean up after so have to walk on soggy towels while using bathroom.

Given the price of the property I was surprised that no tea, milk or sugar was provided although there was jar of instant coffee. The seats were too high to be comfortable and the toilet seat was way too high and we have long legs! The outside stairs are quite noisy when people go up and down them. Lastly we had thought of eating our dinner in the observation room but there are no tables in there, just a bench running around the room.

The property has been beautifully designed with a top floor observation room.

It was a very nice stay, very cool. It had a lot of facilities for the little space it had. It felt larger then it was. The top room was amazing to look around and see the northern lights at night

Very small sink!

Very nice accommodation. A converted silo in the middle of the countryside. In winter, all the surrounding areas are covered with snow, which makes the view very suggestive. From inside your room, you can see the exposed concrete of the structure with a round LED light running around the room . Another wall behind the bed separates the bedroom from the bathroom.

It would be great if the top floor was cosier, perhaps some sofas and tables so you can relax up there in the evening and hope to see the northern lights. If you’re scared of heights, the stairs on the outside of the building might not be for you, but we loved it.

Amazing property, something different to a normal hotel. Really well designed, great that it has a little kitchenette in each room and lovely shower. Nice to have the additional social space on the top floor with super views.
