Clean and modern. Comfortable

No oil/salt/chopping board(!) or lid for pots! Thin walls so we could hear the neighbours having sex, twice

The cabins are brand new, which is evident both inside and out. There is a gas station and a store that is open until 10 p.m. (which is rare in this region), just a 3-minute drive away. The reception staff are very friendly and speak not only English but also Romanian and Polish. :)

The shower size isn't really suitable for people who are 1.9 meters tall, but for 1-2 days, I don't think it's a problem.

Location excellent . Breakfast average.

Nice view right from the bed. Very good and comfortable bed . Very warm toilet with floor heating. Well equipped with basic cooking utensils including an oven. Spotlessly clean

Abit small in space. Would appreciate a space to put our huge luggage. Very heavy door- need to be careful.

It’s well located and its well furbished and equipped.

It’s incredibly small and you can hear your neighbors even murmuring. We also found a pair of socks from a previous guest in a chair.

We loved our stay! The location is perfect when traveling around the South of Iceland. It was an incredibly cozy refuge after a very cold and wet day hiking a glacier. The restaurant and food were also amazing. I had the best Arctic Char of the trip there! We arrived later than anticipated and had to leave much earlier than the check out time and the staff were super friendly and helpful with getting us instructions on what we needed to do.

A very nice place, clean, very comfortable bed, everything was new. We felt very good.

Clean, minimal and TINY!! The space is accurate in the photos but be sure to look at the actual size of the space. 2 adults and 3 suitcases and we barely had room to walk around each other.

Unrealistic expectations from the host. You must wash all the dishes (ok fine) but they only provide a little tiny scrub brush and a little liquid soap. And who wants to wash dishes on vacation?!? For the price, there is no reason the guest should be washing dishes and at a minimum at least provide a dish rag and towel daily. Not to mention, do you really trust the person who stayed before you and their ability to wash them? I don't so I had to wash them before we used them as well. 1 tiny kitchen towel for the 2 nights and we cooked both days we were here. The pans leave a lot to be desired and there aren't many utensils. The heated towel bar was out of order and had been for some time. (They had a label maker type label on it). I wouldn't stay here again, for the price I think there are much better options in the area.

Cute cottage with grass roof. It was attached to the cottage next door, but we really didn't hear our neighbor. The cottage is small, but well designed and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very modern inside. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the small kitchenette and desk with two chairs. They managed to squeeze a lot into a small room. Very clean and quiet. There is a restaurant on site, but they seem short staffed so had to make a reservation for dinner even though there were plenty of open tables. Not a big issue - just be prepared.

The bed is up against the wall, so with two people, one has to crawl over the other if getting up during the night. Also, kind of expensive, but there aren't a lot of options in the area and the room was very nice, so no complaints.
