The room was too small to set up two suitcases. We constantly had to step over our bags. No one from the hotel was on site to answer questions, especially about kitchen items, like where to find paper towels and condiments. No daily maid service. Soap and shampoo were in plastic packets that were hard to open with wet hands in the shower. Like European old style, the bed mattresses were two twin size mattresses with a gap in the center.

The location near Iceland's South Coast and ferry was pretty good, and the reason I picked it over other accommodations. Our unit had a private bath joining our room. Some rooms shared a bath. Coffee was provided to be self made in the public area.

The location was nice and the facility was super clean. There was no staff anywhere though and the mirror in the bathroom was so high that I couldn’t even see myself. I’m only 5 foot three. They need to adjust their mirrors for people of all heights. That royally sucked.

It is little more to drive to popular attractions but worth it!

We had a private bungalow to ourselves with full kitchen that we were able to make our own dinners. A large Smart TV that we were able to log into our Disney+ and PrimeVideo to enjoy while it was raining

The shower was very small. It worked for a small to average person but my husband is a big man, 240, 6.2, and could not turn around inside it. The toiletries were sparse as well.

The view was great and the Icelandic horses in the front yard were a real bonus. The kitchen area was clean and well appointed. Additionally the breakfast options were very nice.

We stayed in the private cabin and it was wonderful! The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay after hiking. The kitchen was stocked with all of the essential cookware, dishes, and supplies to wash dishes. We loved the adorable Icelandic horses grazing outside the cabin!!

The room is spacious. We used the kitchen to cook our own dinner and I must say It is super well equipped, big and nice. The room to eat dinner and breakfast is beautiful. The breakfast was complete, and the waffles are a plus. Outside there are horses, very friendly, our daughters were delighted.

the place is very good, there could be a few slight modifications to make it great - missing a small shelf for soap in the shower. The single room shower needs more air, it humidifies the room and the bed wasn't so comfortable for me. Except for that, it's a really nice place that I would highly recommend.

The rooms are nice, clean and cozy, our stay consisted of one cottage and a single room. The cottage is well equipped, we had breakfasts and dinners there and could cook and dine comfortably, the single room is clean and nice but very basic, it does the job as a single room should. It's a family business, staff is nice, friendly and communicating.

The standalone cottage was lovely, with plenty of room for our family with 2 adults and a teenager. It was quiet, clean, and new with a closeup view of the horses. Having our own kitchen in the cottage was a real plus!

Communication with the owner was not great. Couldn't check-in for a good 15 mins because the owner was not reachable via phone (according to their checkin procedure). They were reachable via booking.com chat and we figured out a way to check-in but we were in a rush to catch our dinner reservation and had to change in the car.

Location peaceful. Horses behind the guesthouse. Parts of an old plane wreck on the premises - highlight for the kids. Best breakfast in Iceland so far. Rooms are nicely decorated.

The cottage is a little tight for two adults and two teens who have a lot of stuff but that's not really a big deal.

Clean and cozy cottage for a family of four. The breakfast was ample and kids enjoyed the waffles. Highlight was the two white horses in the field just next to the cottage - waking up in the morning the kids wanted to say hello to the horses first thing. Good communication, beautiful surroundings, easy check in and check out. Very quick 10 min drive to get to Hvolsvullur for laundromat, groceries, gas, and decent public swimming pool. No dislikes - All was great :)

The place situated a bit off the main highway which we like. So it is very quiet. Rooms are clean, comfortable and with everything one needs. Breakfast room was nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. An old airplane is sitting outside that was from a movie set which was super interesting to check out.

Breakfast looked great, but we needed to be out early in AM.

We stayed in shared bathroom (it was with 1 other room). Easy check in. Very clean. Comfy beds. Able to use full kitchen from 1700-2130 and fridge/freezer at night.
