Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandWe had dinner at the restaurant and it was one of the best dinner we had in Iceland. The restaurant was full but the staff are very efficient and helpful. The room is good size but the bathroom is a bit small.

PanamaExcellent location. We loved the breakfast the food was so delicious and the view of the breakfast area. The rooms were so cozy, warm and had tons of space and located in a great area to watch the Northern Lights and take pictures. Plenty of parking space for the rooms.

United StatesSeveral reviews mention the walk across the road. This didn't bother us at all, although we were lazy and drove over.
Great place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable albeit maybe a bit pricy. The floors appeared to be heated. The staff was more than helpful, even helping us out a couple days after we checked out! We had dinner there and the Artic Char was probably the 2nd best fish dinner I have ever had (the best being fresh caught King Salmon in Alaska). Some of the reviews said the dinner was pricey, however, after adding tip and tax in the U.S., this dinner was actually Less than a dinner in a fine U.S. seafood restaurant. The breakfast was fantastic. Several meats, cheeses, skyr (the blueberry skyr was unreal), eggs and more . . . all in front of cows being tended to. Amazing.

United KingdomSome people might not like the walk across the road to the rooms, this was ok for us. But not so great in icey conditions.
Loved being on a working dairy farm. Went in to see the calfs, and the restaurant was great. Breakfast very good, variety and local produce.

United StatesThe outside lights were bright which may interfere with viewing the northern lights. We understand lighting is needed from a safety perspective.
We loved everything about this place. The staff was friendly, and they even helped pack us a breakfast box the night before since we were leaving early the next day. This is an active working farm with fresh milk from the cows! The dinner was excellent and views during dinner were wonderful. I highly recommend staying here!!

United StatesThe rooms were spacious and well equiped. Breakfast at the restaurant was a delight, looking out over the pasture as the livestock grazed to start the day. Dinner was also wonderful. Be sure and make reservations as hotel guests get preferred seating up until 19:00. We stayed 2 nights at Vogafjós on our ring road trip. It was one of the most enjoyable stays on out trip.

MaltaI loved the place, it was quite chilly and it snowed during the night, we loved the cows, especially if you have small children. The food at the restaurant was amazing. We all had a starter with their local products and the main was delcious. Breafast exceeded my expectations. Plenty of food, cheeses, cold cuts, cakes. I loved all the stay. United StatesI don't think the Farm Restaurant worth the money. The lamb shank was way too salty to my taste and the portion was small with very little side vegetables. The perk was the cows you could see through the windows from the restaurant.
Triple room was comfortable and well designed. Guesthouse was clean but the room is crampy with 3 twin bed. Bathroom was good size and supplied with cleaning products. Breakfast was wonderful.
