It wasn’t clear in the ad that the host also lives in the apartment, that we share the entrance, and that we can’t use the kitchen. So it was a surprise for us. The flat is on the fourth floor of a building with many stairs and no lift and narrow corridors , so it’s quite hard to carry the suitcase up . However, the host kindly helped us with it.

The host was kind and the location was very good and in the center so we could easily walk from there to wherever we wanted.she answered our questions quickly.

No elevator! The 80 steps up! But I completely understand the nature of the heritage building and it cannot be altered to accommodate a lift!!

Centrally located and very well appointed apartment. Great shower and very comfortable, spacious bed.

The stairs! We did not expect 7 flights of stairs but luckily we were fit enough to be able to climb these. Thankfully, the host was also nice enough to assist with my massive lugagage

It is not very clearly stated in the ad that the apartment does not have a kitchen and that it is not a whole apartment, but a room next to the owner. This did not bother me because she is very delicate, but I would still like it to be written directly in the ad. But you just need to read all the reviews to understand the whole picture. There is no elevator, but the owner was very helpful with the suitcase, thank you very much.

Only downside with this apartment was that there is quite noisy at some nights because it is situated near the bars. But this didn't bother us much!

The apartment was very beautiful and clean! Also, the location is wonderful! Also, the lady renting the apartment was super nice and helpful.

Immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows with a well air conditioned room. The room is a big size which is great for space. I cannot thank the host enough, I left my necklace behind and it was sentimental to me. She messaged me to let me know I left it behind and she was willing to post it to me or offered me to collect it. I was able to come back to Palermo to collect it on my trip, and she still offered to walk 15 minutes to the train station to give it to me. Which I thought was super kind. I cannot believe how lucky I am that I left my necklace here instead of another hotel I would have never seen it again. Thank you so much for your kindness as it means a lot to me and your flexibility and commitment to your guests and their experience was fantastic. Thank you dearly.

The apartment is at the 4th floor and the is no lift, which makes it perfect to burn out the extra pizza slice 😆 but it can be challenging after spending a long day under the Sicilian sun and not suitable for people of a certain age. It is also located in a very busy street and can get really noisy at night (until morning) , especially during the weekend. Finally, although the host was really discreet and polite, I think that is important to note (because it wasn’t clear to us before booking this apartment) that she is staying on the second floor of the apartment and the booking is for just a room (no lock on the door) with en suite bathroom and the living room.

The apartment was perfect for young couples. Super clean, stylish and in the center of the most busy area with lots of bars, restaurants and of course sightseeing! The host was very polite, friendly and discreet. She had complimentary water in the fridge, tea and coffee and we loved 😍 the bed!!!
